Job Summary

The Medical Technologist is responsible for performing laboratory procedures, specimen collection, diagnostic testing, quality control activities, and related laboratory operations to ensure accurate and timely results. The position also supports patient care through excellent customer service, compliance with laboratory standards, and participation in clinic, mobile, and home service operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform blood extraction, specimen collection, handling, processing, storage, and transport in accordance with laboratory protocols and quality standards.
• Conduct laboratory examinations and diagnostic testing in various disciplines, including Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Clinical Microscopy, Immunology, Microbiology, and other laboratory sections as assigned.
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results through proper quality control and quality assurance procedures.
• Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and analyzers.
• Process, verify, print, and release laboratory results within established turnaround times.
• Maintain accurate patient records, laboratory reports, and documentation while ensuring confidentiality and data privacy compliance.
• Assist in inventory management, monitoring laboratory supplies, reagents, and equipment.
• Observe and implement laboratory safety, infection prevention, biosafety, and waste management protocols.
• Provide professional and courteous assistance to patients and clients, ensuring a positive healthcare experience.
• Conduct mobile clinic, corporate account, Annual Physical Examination (APE), and home service specimen collection activities as required.
• Participate in continuous professional development, training programs, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science.
• Registered Medical Technologist (RMT) with a valid PRC License.
• With experience / Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
• Knowledgeable in laboratory procedures, quality assurance, and laboratory safety standards.
• Proficient in specimen collection and blood extraction techniques.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to perform fieldwork, mobile services, and home service assignments when required.
• Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, when necessary.

Pay: Php23,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
