Star Students is seeking compassionate, experienced educators who believe every child deserves an individualized learning experience. We provide personalized homeschool instruction, tutoring, project-based learning, and educational coaching that helps students build confidence, develop essential skills, and discover a genuine love for learning.

As a Part-Time Remote Teacher, you’ll work closely with students and families to deliver engaging online instruction, create customized lesson plans, monitor student progress, and adapt teaching strategies to meet each learner’s unique needs. This is an excellent opportunity for educators who value meaningful relationships, flexibility, and making a lasting impact beyond the traditional classroom.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver engaging one-on-one and small group online instruction
• Develop personalized lesson plans and learning activities
• Adapt instruction to different learning styles and academic levels
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress
• Foster a supportive, encouraging, and confidence-building learning environment
• Collaborate with the Star Students team to ensure student success

We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree and valid teaching certification (preferred)
• Experience in classroom teaching, homeschooling, or tutoring
• Strong communication, organization, and lesson planning skills
• Comfortable working with students who have diverse learning needs (ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Anxiety, executive functioning challenges, and more)
• Reliable, patient, creative, and passionate about helping students succeed

Position Details

• Remote
• Part-Time
• Approximately 8 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours as enrollment grows
• Late mornings and early afternoons (Eastern Time)
• Compensation: $30–35 CAD/hour, depending on experience and qualifications
