About us

NewAge Endocrinology is an endocrinology medical practice in Orange County, California. We are seeking a dependable Virtual Back-Office Assistant based anywhere in the Philippines to support our administrative operations overnight (Philippines daytime hours).

Excellent spoken and written English is required. Spanish is a plus but not required. Our patient population is approximately half Spanish-speaking, so even basic Spanish is helpful.

Responsibilities

Process patient check-in and check-out tasks at the end of each U.S. business day.

Handle insurance prior authorizations and eligibility verification.

Manage incoming faxes and route to appropriate staff.

Enter and update patient information in Tebra (our EMR system).

Assist with appointment scheduling, confirmations, and rescheduling.

Manage administrative paperwork, task lists, and documentation.

Respond to patient messages for non-urgent administrative matters.

Prepare the next day's schedule and flag any issues before the office opens.

Requirements

Advanced spoken and written English.

Spanish ability is a plus but not required.

Prior virtual assistant, back-office, BPO, or medical administrative experience preferred.

Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented.

Personal computer, quality headset, stable internet of at least 20 Mbps, and a backup plan for power or internet interruptions.

A private, quiet workspace suitable for handling confidential medical information (HIPAA-compliant environment).

Availability to work Philippines daytime hours (approximately 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Philippine time, corresponding to U.S. nighttime/overnight hours).

What we offer

Contractual compensation: USD $3.00 per hour. Indeed may display an approximate amount in Philippine pesos. Payment will reflect the agreed U.S. dollar rate converted at the applicable exchange rate on the payment date.

Approximately 40 hours per week.

Fully remote work from anywhere in the Philippines.
