Full job description

The Role

We're looking for a skilled Revit drafter to join our team on a contract basis. You'll be working on a mix of residential and commercial projects — granny flats, extensions, multi-unit DAs, and new builds — producing clean, council-ready documentation to tight turnarounds.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Producing DA and CDC drawing sets in Revit (site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, roof plans, shadow diagrams)
  • Drafting construction certificate documentation
  • Preparing as-built drawings from site measurements
  • Coordinating with the lead architect on design intent and council requirements
  • Applying NSW planning controls (SEPP, LEP/DCP, NCC) correctly in your documentation
  • Incorporating revision feedback promptly and accurately

What We're Looking For

  • Proficiency in Revit — this is non-negotiable
  • AutoCAD skills a strong bonus
  • Solid understanding of NSW DA/CDC documentation requirements
  • Experience with residential projects (extensions, granny flats, dual occupancy, multi-unit)
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines without hand-holding
  • Strong attention to detail — clean line work, no broken lines, correct annotation
  • Good communication and responsiveness

Nice to Have

  • Experience with commercial or retail fitout documentation
  • Familiarity with BASIX, NCC classifications, and AS 3740
  • 3D rendering capability (Revit or other)

  • Contract / per-project basis to start, with potential for ongoing regular work
