Merchandiser

responsible for everything that happens to a product from the moment it is delivered to the store to the moment a shopper picks it up off the shelf. They monitor product appearance and supply in various stores throughout their designated geographic area.

• Ensures displays are maintained according to set merchandising and brand guidelines.
• Reports damaged stocks / defective products according to product codes.
• Displays all Unilever brands according to given guidelines.
• Reports all new brands or any competitive activity.
• Submits account inventories of each stock keeping unit (SKU) to Field Sales.
• Monitors inventories of damaged / defective stocks and gives these inventories to field sales for pick-up.
• Ensures all displays are maintained clean and healthy.
• Improvises merchandising materials for Unilever brands if needed.
• Monitors pricing and out of stocks of each account covered.
• Prepares merchandising reports:
• offtake summary report (tactical)
• out of stock monitoring report
• merchandising updates
• competitive activities
• inventories / bad order inventories
• Maintains good relationship with retail account/outlet based personnel
• Ensures Merchandising Systems (FIFO, Correct Pricing, Optimized use of POS and Fullness of Display ) are followed at all times
• Ensures Merchandisers’ Basic Call Procedure are followed at all times.

Job Type: Permanent
