We are seeking Trading and Business Development Analyst to join our dynamic team ! If you have a keen interest in market trends, trading strategies, and business development within the energy sector, this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Perform the implementation of day-to-day trading activities (such as preparation and submission of bid and offers, nominations and BCQs in accordance with WESM rules and schedules)

✅ Monitor real-time market operations and adjust trading positions as needed.

✅ Perform billing and settlement activities (such as preparation of the billing determinants and statements of the power supply agreements, validation of WESM settlement accuracy, and payment requests for WESM-related transactions)

✅ Coordinate with operations, compliance, and finance teams or external parties such as IEMOP and NGCP for trading-related activities.

✅ Prepare periodic trading performance reports.

✅ Present to the management, as may be needed, trading-related activities or updates

✅Provide support/assistance on the market analysis and compliance activities

✅Performs other tasks as may be assigned by Immediate Supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of B. S. Engineering, Economics, Mathematics or a related
• Fresh Graduates are welcome, but preferably with at least one-year relevant work experience
• Strong communication, coordination and interpersonal skills
• Able to perform under pressure
• Strong ethical standards and commitment to compliance with regulatory requirements
• Demonstrates strong integrity and a solid commitment to professional work ethics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, advanced excel and power point and Advanced MS Excel skills
• Experience in using complex computer software and applications utilized in the academe or any industry.
• Ability to collect and analyze real-time and historical market data to make or recommend informed trading decisions.
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• With basic knowledge and understanding on the Philippine Power Industry, including WESM operations and retail competition frameworks.
• Works well with team
