Full job description

  • Maintain and update financial records in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Support the Accounting Manager in budget planning, financial forecasting, and resolving financial-related queries.
  • Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements by preparing and filing monthly, quarterly, and annual BIR tax returns (e.g., 1601C, 1601EQ, 1604CF, 2316, 1604E, 2550Q).
  • Prepare invoices, collection receipts, BIR Form 2307 compilation, AR aging reports, and Monthly Income Reports (MIR) in a timely manner.
  • Perform monthly book closings, including adjustments, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare bank and QuickBooks account reconciliations.
  • Process payroll, including salary computation, statutory deductions, and final pay based on HR timekeeping data.
  • Monitor and maintain records of fixed assets, including lapses and depreciation schedules.
  • Review and validate requests for payments, employee cash advances, liquidations, and reimbursements.
  • Monitor supplier balances and perform reconciliations with vendors.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and required documentation.
  • Consolidate audit forms (Bank, Legal, Corporate, RPT) and prepare corresponding supporting documents.
  • Ensure compliance with filing/reporting requirements for BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
  • Supervise and guide two (2) Accounting Associates in daily accounting operations.
  • Recommend and assist in the implementation of process improvements to streamline workflows.
  • Prepare and issue customer receipts accurately and promptly.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and necessary schedules.
  • Assist with third-party audits, including vendors, clients, and government agencies.
  • Gain and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's financial structure and reporting system.
  • Perform special tasks and ad hoc assignments from the Immediate Supervisor or Department Head.

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

  • Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)
