Full job description

Timekeeping

1. Ensures timely and accurate enrolment and completion of documents of newly hired employees in timekeeping system.

2. Conducts timekeeping orientation to all newly hired employees.

3. Overall in charge for the proper coordination of timekeeping and system issue to the provider for proper implementation of policies.

4. Ensures that timekeeping data are accurate and schedules are updated as coordinated to the department supervisors and leads.

5. Downloads timekeeping information. Reviews and validates downloaded data and submits final data for review.

6. Processes timekeeping data of all Cohu Employees on a specified payroll cut-off.

7. Reviews and validates pay adjustments related to timekeeping.

8. Safe keeps all timekeeping records of employees based on set retention period.

9. Coordinates with Employee Relations for any violation related to timekeeping such as frequent tardiness, unscheduled vacation leave and AWOL.

10. Prepares and analyzes timekeeping reports such as adjustment reports, timekeeping variance reports and others.

11. Attends to employee concerns related to timekeeping.

12. Prepares related timekeeping reports as needed.

Payroll

1. Collates all related payroll instructions, documents and employee movement per cut-off and enters under personnel action notice and payroll transaction for approval using the online timekeeping and payroll systems.

2. Analyses and audits payroll data for accuracy of posting.

3. Prepares semi-monthly Payroll Register, Bank File and conduct payroll variance reporting and other payroll related reports.

4. Prepares monthly Government Remittance report and ensures to comply with the processing and payment schedules

5. Prepares monthly Pension Plan Funding and request for payment.

6. Processes final pay computation and separation pay (if any) of all separated employees.

7. Prepares journal entries related to payroll and record timely and accurately.

8. Updates payroll related GL account schedules every month-end.

9. Assists in the preparation of accruals and monitors to actuals for proper monitoring and expense recording

10. Processes monthly tax filing of BIR 1601-C and annual tax filing of BIR 1604-C and its related attachments.

Pay: From Php23,000.00 per month
