(EPI) is the renewable energy arm of Nickel Asia Corporation (NAC), dedicated to developing large-scale solar, wind, hydropower, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and other renewable energy projects across the Philippines. As a key player in the country’s shift to clean energy, EPI is committed to delivering innovative and sustainable power solutions.
We are seeking a Business and Market Intelligence Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role will identifies, gathers, and validates relevant external business and market information by actively engaging with industry participants, government agencies, project developers, suppliers, and other key sources. The role focuses on field‑based intelligence gathering, source mapping, and network building to surface early insights on market developments, regulatory direction, supplier landscapes, land availability, and project opportunities, feeding structured intelligence into the Business & Market Intelligence function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, map, and maintain relevant information sources across government, industry, utilities, suppliers, and project ecosystems
- Conduct field‑based intelligence gathering through meetings, site visits, forums, and stakeholder engagements
- Gather early‑stage information on market trends, regulatory developments, suppliers, land availability, and potential project opportunities
- Validate, document, and organize collected information for submission to the BMI Manager and analytics team
- Maintain and grow a professional network of contacts that support continuous intelligence flow
Qualifications:
- Educational Attainment - Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Business, or related field
- At least 3–5 years relevant experience in roles involving field work, stakeholder engagement, research, or intelligence gathering, preferably within the power, energy, infrastructure, or public sector environment; Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional networks across agencies, industry groups, and market participants; Good understanding of the power industry value chain, regulatory environment, and project development context; Experience working with government agencies, LGUs, utilities, developers, or suppliers is a strong advantage
