Work Setup & Schedule:

  • Hybrid (Mon-Fri, 6:30AM – 3:30PM)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Maintain and close book of accounts of clients. .
  • Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of delivery of clients' books and accounting records
  • Provides ad-hoc accounting support.
  • Involves in monthly closing and reporting process under the guidance of more experienced staff.
  • Preparation and lodgment of BAS
  • Management of Dext for selected bookkeeping clients
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Accounts payable processing
  • Processing payment runs
  • Payroll processing and STP finalization were required
  • Superannuation processing and reconciliation
  • Client reporting including monthly management reports
  • Maintaining general ledger integrity and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Under the supervision and review of a more experienced staff member,
  • Completes work assignments within the time considered reasonable for a particular task.
  • Keeps the person in charge fully informed of progress on assignments.
  • Conforms to the company's administrative policies and requirements, and those of clients as applicable.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and resourcefulness in adapting client situations.
  • Advises staff in charge of assignment about client procedures which can be improved.

What will make you a great fit:

  • A CPA or Non CPA; Graduate of any 4 year Business Course
  • Has at least two (2) years of work experience.
  • Have the necessary personal characteristics such as integrity, dependability, flexibility and self-confidence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Is willing to extend himself beyond the immediate demands of the assignment and to accept new responsibilities
