We are seeking a Row and Land Rights Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for formulating and implementing Right of Way (ROW) and land acquisition plans for all SZPC facilities. In coordination with the Permit Supervisor, the role ensures the timely acquisition of permits and necessary documentation required to secure tenurial rights over project lands. The position also recommends appropriate solutions, strategies, mitigation measures, and approaches to effectively obtain and safeguard land tenure rights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creates the ROW and Land Acquisition plan for the project alongside the Project Engineer, Permitting Officer, and the Legal Counsel.
  • Ensure proper implementation of the ROW and Land Acquisition Plan
  • Formulate strategies and counter measures for an effective negotiation with the land owners
  • Creates and manages the Land Owners Master List being maintained in the project
  • Point person or liaison for Land Owners and stakeholders
  • Maintains good and quality relationship with Land Owners and key stakeholders
  • Address any concern of the Land Owners and properly transmits information to all concerned
  • Examines and ensure all land related documents are complete and compliant
  • Comply with Company Policies, Safety and Security rules and Code of Conduct
  • Assist in the implementation of company policies, safety procedures, SOPs, good housekeeping and environmental regulations
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned by his superior

Qualifications:

  • Educational Attainment - Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferably Civil Engineering, Geodetic Engineering or Agricultural Engineering
  • Licensure - Must be a licensed engineer
  • At least 1 year of experience in a related function or in similar industry preferably with exposure on surveying
