QA Engineer

QA Engineer is responsible for leading the development and implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures for our Banking, Fintech, Merchant Services, Payment Processing, and Ecommerce products. You will work closely with our development and product teams to ensure the highest level of quality is achieved in our software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

· Lead the development and implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures for our software products

· Collaborate with development and product teams to identify and prioritize testing needs and to define testing requirements and ensure that they are met

· Develop and maintain automated testing scripts for our software products

· Create and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the highest level of quality is achieved

· Collaborate with project management teams to ensure that testing is integrated into the project schedule and that testing milestones are achieved on time

· Identify and report defects in our software products and track them to resolution

· Manage and report on testing progress and results to the development and product teams

· Define and track quality metrics to measure and improve the overall quality of our software products

· Ensure that our software products comply with industry standards, regulations, and security protocols

· Continuously improve the quality assurance process by incorporating industry best practices and emerging technologies

· Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the quality assurance team

· Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve quality issues during the development process

· Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to development teams to ensure code quality and maintainability

· Collaborate with product teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure that they are met during testing

· Provide technical support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders as needed

· Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in quality assurance and related technologies

· Identify and suggest improvements to existing processes and systems, and work with other teams to implement them

· Represent the quality assurance team in cross-functional meetings and initiatives, and provide technical guidance and support to other teams as needed

Preferred Qualifications and Experiences:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

· 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, software development, or related field

· Strong experience in JAVA development

· Experience in Banking, Fintech, Merchant Services, Payment Processing, or Ecommerce industry

· Strong understanding of software development life cycle and Agile methodologies

· Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Appium, or JMeter

· Strong experience in testing web applications, APIs, and mobile applications

· Knowledge of SQL and database management

· Experience with version control systems such as Git

· Familiarity with security protocols and best practices

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

· Proven ability to lead and mentor junior members of the quality assurance team

· Knowledge of performance testing and tuning

· Familiarity with cloud computing and containerization technologies such as AWS and Docker
