Registered Nurse - CDI Specialist (Non-Bedside)

As a CDI Specialist, you’ll play a vital part in improving healthcare outcomes by ensuring patient records are complete, accurate, and compliant. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who want a stable schedule and a shift away from hospital-based roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Review patient records/medical charts to identify gaps or missing clinical details
• Submit physician queries or clarifications to support severity of illness, risk of mortality, and medical necessity
• Work with healthcare professionals to improve documentation accuracy and completeness
• Apply clinical knowledge of pathophysiology, medical terminology, and ICD-10-CM principles
• Ensure compliance with healthcare guidelines and client protocols

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN)
• At least 1 year of CDI experience, or 5+ years of bedside experience (strictly ER or ICU)
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills
• Comfortable working remotely while on video call (open camera)
• Amenable to night shift schedule
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Preferably based in Negros Oriental or nearby provinces

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php85,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dumaguete: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• ER or ICU: 3 years (Required)
• Medical Coding: 1 year (Preferred)
