Job Title: Part-Time Bookkeeper (Guesty Experience Required) – Remote
Job Type: Part-Time (10–15 hours per week)
Location: Remote (Work from Home)
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper with hands-on Guesty experience to support our growing short-term rental operations. This is a part-time, fully remote role ideal for someone who has previously worked with US or international clients and is comfortable managing financial records within the Guesty platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using Guesty
- Reconcile transactions, payouts, and bank statements
- Track income, expenses, and owner statements for short-term rental properties
- Ensure proper categorization of transactions
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and closing processes
- Identify discrepancies and resolve bookkeeping issues promptly
- Collaborate with property managers and operations team as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, specifically using Guesty
- Experience working with US or international clients in a remote setup
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting
- Experience with short-term rental (STR) accounting is highly preferred
- Proficiency in tools such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software is a plus
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Nice to Have
- Experience in property management or hospitality accounting
- Familiarity with OTA platforms (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com)
- Experience handling multi-property or multi-owner accounts
