Audit Assistant

The Operations Auditor supports and assists the Operations Audit Lead in evaluating the efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance of operational processes within the organization.

Job Description:

• Assists in gathering, organizing, and reviewing documents, reports, and records needed for operational audits.
• Conducts preliminary assessments or walkthroughs of business processes.
• Collects and analyzes operational data. Identify trends, anomalies, and potential control issues.
• Ensures audit working papers and documentation are intact.
• Assists in the preparation of audit findings and observations.
• Conducts spot checks and thorough audit (if necessary) and verifies compliance with SOPs across operations.
• Shall participate in and conduct an independent audit of the monthly warehouse wall-to-wall inventory count to validate accuracy, ensure compliance with inventory procedures, and identify potential discrepancies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A major in Accountancy or Finance is preferred.
• With at least 2 years of experience in Internal Audit in the same industry.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Communication and report preparation.
• Knowledge of operational processes.
• Monday-Friday Compressed work set-up.

Experience:

• FMCG: 1 year (Preferred)
• Warehouse Audit: 1 year (Preferred)
• Sales and Financial Audit: 1 year (Preferred)
