Stone & Pebble Café is a growing food & beverage business in Cebu City, operating a dine-in café, commissary, and catering services.

We are seeking a Bookkeeper / Admin & Compliance Officer to take over and professionalize our financial, administrative, and compliance functions following the transition of our current admin role.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is comfortable working hands-on with daily operations while managing statutory compliance and financial records.

Role Overview

The Bookkeeper / Admin & Compliance Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping, operational administrative tasks, supplier payments, payroll processing, and ensuring full compliance with BIR, SEC, and other government requirements.

This role works closely with the Owner/CEO and supports both operational and financial decision-making.

Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping & Financial Records

  • Maintain accurate and updated bookkeeping records
  • Record daily sales and reconcile POS reports
  • Track cash flow, expenses, and supplier balances
  • Prepare monthly financial summaries and reports

Inventory & Stock Administration

  • Maintain inventory and stocktake records
  • Track stock movements, deliveries, and supplier invoices
  • Coordinate stock ordering and receiving
  • Ensure complete documentation for purchases and inventory

Supplier Payments & Payables

  • Process supplier payments
  • Maintain supplier ledgers and payment schedules
  • Ensure payments are properly supported with invoices and receipts

Payroll & HR Administrative Support

  • Prepare payroll computations (attendance, overtime, deductions)
  • Process scheduled payroll releases
  • Manage SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions
  • Maintain payroll and personnel records

Compliance & Government Reporting

  • Handle BIR monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance
  • Prepare and monitor SEC requirements
  • Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and government offices
  • Maintain organized compliance files and proof of filings

General Administrative Support

  • Maintain organized digital and physical records
  • Support management reporting and audits
  • Help improve systems, controls, and internal processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
  • Experience in F&B or retail is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of BIR and SEC compliance (Philippines)
  • Experience handling payroll and statutory contributions
  • Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets
  • Accounting software experience is an advantage
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and trustworthy
  • Comfortable managing both operational admin and compliance work
