Full job description
SuperStaff is looking for a driven Business Development Manager to lead growth for our Employer of Record (EOR) line of business across North America and other key markets. The EOR BDM will partner closely with the Director of Business Development and the CEO to own a full-cycle outbound motion focused on companies hiring talent internationally without setting up a local entity — identifying prospects, running discovery conversations, and closing new EOR engagements across the Philippines, Colombia, and other markets we cover.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Generation & Outbound
- Build and execute outbound campaigns via email, phone, and LinkedIn to generate qualified meetings with decision-makers.
- Use Apollo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to research target accounts and craft personalized outreach.
- Maintain a healthy, self-sourced pipeline aligned to quarterly quota targets.
Discovery & Consultative Selling
- Lead discovery calls with prospects to uncover business drivers, operational pain points, and staffing needs.
- Translate prospect needs into tailored SuperStaff solutions across CX, back office, IT, healthcare, and specialized verticals.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, pricing, and presentations that clearly communicate value.
Deal Management & Closing
- Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, from first meeting to signed agreement.
- Coordinate with Operations, TA, and Finance to scope solutions accurately and ensure smooth handoff to delivery.
- Partner with the Director of Business Development and the CEO on strategic and enterprise pursuits.
CRM & Reporting
- Keep Zoho CRM fully up to date with activities, notes, and opportunity stages.
- Report weekly on pipeline health, forecast, and activity metrics.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of outbound playbooks, sequences, and messaging.
Qualifications
Required
- 3–6 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in EOR, global payroll, PEO, BPO, staffing, HR tech, or professional services with an international component.
- Demonstrated track record of hitting or exceeding quota in an outbound sales role.
- Strong discovery and consultative selling skills — comfortable leading conversations with founders, HR leaders, and Legal/Finance stakeholders on compliance-sensitive topics.
- Working understanding of how EOR engagements are structured (employer of record vs. entity vs. contractor) and the trade-offs clients weigh.
- Excellent written and verbal English; clear, concise, and professional communication style.
- Comfortable with CRM discipline and modern sales tooling (CRM, sales engagement, prospecting).
Preferred
- Experience selling EOR, global payroll, or international employment solutions into North American buyers.
- Familiarity with Zoho CRM, Apollo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Exposure to the Philippines and/or Colombia as employment markets, including general awareness of statutory benefits, 13th-month pay, severance norms, and data privacy frameworks.
- Experience competing against or alongside global EOR platforms (Deel, Remote, Velocity Global, Multiplier, etc.) and articulating a high-touch, region-specialized differentiation.
Benefits
- HMO with 1 free dependent upon hire
- Life Insurance
- 20 PTO credits annually
- VL and SL cash conversion
- Annual Performance-Based Merit Increases and Employee Recognition
- Great Company Culture
- Career Growth and Learning
