Job Summary:
The IT Operations Lead is responsible for managing IT operations, infrastructure, system performance, technical support, and service delivery. The role ensures the availability, security, and efficiency of IT systems while leading operational improvements, vendor coordination, incident resolution, and technology support for business users.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring stable and efficient technology services across the organization.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, networks, servers, hardware, and business-critical systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Manage and resolve IT incidents, technical issues, and service requests within agreed service levels.
- Lead the implementation and monitoring of IT operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure system availability, data security, backup processes, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders for system maintenance, upgrades, and technical requirements.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and user experience.
- Oversee user access management, software licensing, and IT asset management.
- Support cybersecurity initiatives and ensure adherence to IT governance and information security standards.
- Lead and mentor IT support staff to ensure high-quality technical support and service delivery.
- Prepare operational reports, system documentation, and recommendations for management.
- Collaborate with business units to identify technology needs and support digital transformation initiatives.
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by management.
What You Need to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any related course.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure, or Technical Support, preferably in a lead or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, systems administration, and technical support operations.
- Experience in incident management, vendor coordination, and IT service management.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, backup, disaster recovery, and system monitoring tools.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Good leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is an advantage
