Full job description
- Greet and seat guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Present menus and provide detailed explanations of dishes, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Offer wine and beverage recommendations, including upselling premium items
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen promptly
- Serve food and drinks following fine dining service standards
- Monitor tables to anticipate guest needs without being intrusive
- Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally
- Process bills and payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service
