We are an AI-powered construction technology platform built for specialty trade subcontractors. We help them win more bids, protect margins, and cut the operational chaos between preconstruction and project delivery.

Our stack is C#/.NET, TypeScript/Angular, and Python, running on Microsoft Azure. We’re a small, high-intensity team where what you build goes live fast—and directly impacts real businesses.

Role Summary

Construction documents—drawings, specifications, change orders, RFIs—are the raw material our platform runs on. You will own the Python layer that reads them: extending the Document Analytics pipeline, integrating AI/ML capabilities, and keeping it production-solid at scale. This is a hands-on engineering role. You will write code every day.

Key Responsibilities

-Document ingestion, classification, and structured data extraction pipelines

-Computer vision workflows for architectural drawings, plans, and trade-specific formats

-LLM integration for intelligent document understanding—prompt design, output validation, domain rules

-OCR and pre-processing: image normalization, layout analysis, confidence scoring

-Scalable batch processing on Azure—resilient job queues, failure handling, observability

-API contracts between the analytics layer and the .NET platform core

Required Skills & Qualifications

-5+ years of professional Python development—production code, not just scripts

-Document analysis experience: PDF parsing, OCR pipelines, or image-based data extraction

-Computer vision fundamentals: OpenCV, object detection, image segmentation

-LLM API integration experience (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI) in a production context

-Cloud deployment on Azure or equivalent: containerized services, job queues, blob storage

-Fluent written English—you document your work and communicate design decisions clearly

-Experience with construction documents specifically—drawings, specs, or trade submittals

-Hands-on with modern document AI: Azure Document Intelligence, Textract, or LayoutLM-family models

-You’ve built or contributed to a RAG pipeline or document intelligence product used in production
