QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferably a CPA
  • 2–4 years of experience in general accounting or shared services environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products and tools. Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, macros). Ideally, experience in Power Query and Power Pivot
  • Proficiency in Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience in data visualization and analytics is a plus
  • Ability to work across different time zones and cultures.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in handling for AU, PH and Canada.

General Accounting

  • Perform end-to-end accounting processes including invoicing, check preparation, and bank reconciliations.
  • Handle period-end closing activities and submit all required reports on time.
  • Reconcile bank transactions with the general ledger and ensure daily updating of cash position.
  • Prepare GL journals, accruals, and monthly GL reconciliations with complete supporting schedules.
  • Monitor and reconcile outstanding cash advances, due from employees, and outstanding payables, ensuring accuracy and timely clearing on the general ledger.
  • Maintain updated aging schedules and other account listings for regular monitoring and review.
  • Coordinate and monitor all sources of transaction-related information to ensure timely processing and sharing of data.
  • Address issues and queries raised by clients, vendors, and employees related to accounting transactions.
  • Performa ad-hoc tasks and special projects as assigned by management.

Intercompany Transactions

  • Prepare, record and reconcile intercompany invoices and charges between related entities.
  • Monitor intercompany receivables and payables to ensure timely settlement and accurate balancing of accounts.
  • Coordinate with local and overseas finance teams to validate cross-charges, shared service fees, reimbursements, and cost allocations.
  • Ensure consistency of intercompany accounting entries across all entities and resolve discrepancies proactively.
  • Maintain a monthly intercompany reconciliation schedule and ensure alignment with group reporting requirements.
  • Support audit requirements by providing complete intercompany documentation, agreements, and reconciliation trails.
  • Ensure intercompany transactions comply with internal policies, transfer pricing guidelines, and applicable regulations.

Accounts Payable and Disbursements

  • Process payments for vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, cash advances, and other approved payment requests.
  • Review all invoices and payment requests for completeness, accuracy, and proper approval.
  • Facilitate weekly online payment runs and coordinate timely confirmation of payments to suppliers and requestors.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with government requirements, regulations, and internal company policies for all payables and disbursements.
  • Prepare weekly reports on outstanding payables and vendor accounts.
  • Maintain organized files and ensure all payments are properly recorded in the system.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare financial statements and management reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards.

Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Provide necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with regional finance teams to standardize processes and ensure service delivery.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation within the shared services environment.

Pay: Php45,000.00 - Php70,000.00 per month
