Pharmacy Category Lead – Supplements

The Pharmacy Category Lead – Supplements is responsible for driving the overall performance, growth, and profitability of the supplements category. This role involves category planning, product assortment, supplier management, pricing strategy, and promotional execution. The ideal candidate is a Registered Pharmacist with strong commercial acumen and experience in category, product, or brand management within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category plans to achieve sales, margin, and market share targets.
• Analyze category performance, market trends, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
• Manage product assortment, ensuring the right mix of SKUs aligned with customer demand.
• Lead product lifecycle management from sourcing to discontinuation.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams for new product development and launches.
• Ensure all products comply with regulatory and quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and distributors.
• Negotiate pricing, trade terms, and promotional support.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and product availability.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies aligned with market conditions.
• Plan and execute promotions, campaigns, and in-store/online activations.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory turnover.
• Work closely with supply chain teams to forecast demand and avoid stockouts or overstocking.
• Support merchandising and in-store execution standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related healthcare field.
• Experience in category management, product management, brand management, or merchandising within pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG environments.
• Strong understanding of vitamins, dietary supplements, and OTC products, including regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA compliance in the Philippines).
• Background in retail pharmacy, drugstore chains, or healthcare distribution is an advantage.

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php70,000.00 per month

License/Certification:

• Registered Pharmacist (Required)
