Full job description

I. Maintenance Engineer – Planner

1. Safety Compliance – Helps to ensure the safety and welfare of personnel during all types of maintenance activities by enforcing company safety policies, procedures, reminders and housekeeping standards.

2. Performance Monitoring - Track daily operation delays, Prepare monthly analysis of data reports with correct root causes, and improvement opportunities.

3. Maintenance Planning - Develop, review, and update maintenance schedules (planned and unplanned) in coordination with Shift/Supervisors and the Maintenance Head.

4. Engineering Improvements - Evaluate and prepare engineering designs for equipment upgrades, modifications, or new projects to enhance plant reliability and efficiency.

5. Action Plan Implementation – Create, execute and monitor action plans to achieve departmental goals, ensuring alignment with organizational targets, including issued Corrective Action Plans.

6. Cost Efficiency - Monitor and implement economical practices, cost-saving procedures, and resource utilization to optimize maintenance costs.

7. Spare Parts Management

· Helps to establish and review usage rates of spares and consumables per area.

· Helps ensure availability through proper inventory control and purchase acquisition of spares.

· Helps inspect incoming purchased items to verify conformity with specifications.

8. Interdepartmental Coordination - Collaborate with other department Planners, supervisors to identify equipment requiring maintenance solutions, supported by condition monitoring results.

9. Budget Oversight - Monitor and evaluate departmental budget performance, recommending adjustments where necessary.

10. Documentation and Standards - Review and update departmental reference manuals, processes, calibrations and ensure compliance with ISO documentation requirements. Ensures and helps in guiding the department members to follow proper documentation process.

11. Reporting - Provide regular updates to the Mechanical Maintenance Head regarding equipment issues and interdepartmental concerns affecting plant operations.

12. Personnel Management

· Assist in preparation of work schedules for assigned personnel.

· Provide inputs in identifying training needs and conduct skills analysis for him/herself and subordinates.

· Supervise and support subordinates in daily maintenance activities.

· Tasked to conduct established orientation guidelines for a new department members and training plan.

· Assigned to keep records to all department members.

13. Should be able to know and perform tasks of a section in-charge in his/her absence.

14. Other Duties - Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Mechanical Maintenance Head.

II. Maintenance Engineer – Section In-charge

1. Safety Compliance – Ensure the safety and welfare of personnel during all types of maintenance activities by enforcing company safety policies, procedures, reminders and housekeeping standards in the assigned area.

2. Performance Monitoring - Track daily operation delays, provides analysis of data reports with correct root causes, and improvement opportunities in the assigned area to the MM Head and Maintenance Planner. Equipment Condition monitoring and data gathering.

3. Maintenance Planning - Develop, review, and update maintenance schedules (planned and unplanned) for the assigned area in coordination with the other Supervisory officers and the Maintenance Head.

4. Engineering Improvements - Evaluate and prepare engineering designs for equipment upgrades, modifications, or new projects to enhance plant reliability and efficiency.

5. Action Plan Implementation – Create, execute and monitor action plans to achieve departmental goals focusing in the assigned section/area, ensuring alignment with organizational targets, including issued Corrective Action Plans.

· Assigned to keep records to his subordinates.

· Conduct performance appraisal of subordinates, guidance and disciplinary management.

13. Should be able to know and perform tasks of a Planner in his/her absence.

14. Other Duties - Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Mechanical Maintenance Head.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Graduate of Mechanical Engineering

- With PRC license (Mechanical Engineer)

- Minimum of 2 years related work experience

- Knowledgeable in Autocad Operations is a plus

- Computer literate

- With background in safety compliance, spare parts and maintenance planning, ISO documentation requirements compliance is a plus

Pay: Php10,692.27 - Php34,819.28 per month
