Invitation for Case Study Presentation and a Position as App Designer

Client:

A startup company shall launch an app that shall provide equal opportunities to all Filipinos (both unemployed or in the workforce) by having a shared mobile platform to help each other do small tasks for minimal compensation. The platform shall converge both service requestors and service applicants and provide assistance to each other in the spirit of Filipino Bayanihan “Tulong Tulong sa Maliit na Paraan para sa Ika-uunlad ng Bayan”. Such small task may range from helping house chores (i.e. walking the dog, doing small errands, etc.) up to professional work (i.e. tutorials, house electric repairs, etc.). The app shall earn thru small fees charged for every task posted and every task applied. Real money from financial technology providers (such as but not limited to GCASH, PAYMAYA, etc.) shall be converted into transaction coins as in-app purchases which are also refundable by users of the app. Target implementation is set in the last quarter of this year piloting to specific metro areas in the Philippines.

Request Details:

1. Create a simple study identifying the impact of the app to Filipinos (3 to 4 pages)

2. Identify opportunities and competition of the app in the market.

3. Suggest innovative features that must be included in the app as a result of the study

above. (1 page)

4. Recommend and submit the following based on the case study presented:

a. Name of the App

b. Text Logo of the App

c. App Tagline

d. Sample Visual design of the mobile app (maximum of 5 activities)

Note:

Successful candidates shall be paid (PHP 5,000.00) for the case study provided. Owner of the chosen case study shall have the chance to work for the company for three months as part of the development team.
