Columbia Administrative Support Services (CASS) is an innovative engineering firm specializing in commercial building designs. The drafter position is responsible for the creation, management, and maintenance of building models, drawings, and deliverables using Revit. This role involves collaborating with engineers & architects to ensure that all building designs and modifications are accurately documented and maintained in a centralized model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, modify, and update detailed 2D and 3D Revit models and drawings based on project specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure accuracy and alignment of project designs.
- Maintain and manage Revit project files, ensuring they are organized and up-to-date.
- Develop and adhere to drafting standards, templates, and workflows.
- Conduct quality checks on models and drawings to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Assist in resolving design and documentation issues during the project lifecycle.
- Provide support for BIM-related tasks, including clash detection, coordination, & creating detail.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.
- 3 year's experience in AutoDesk Revit is REQUIRED, and proficiency in Bluebeam, and related drafting software.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing systems
- Knowledge of BIM standards, workflows, and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with additional design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools).
- Understanding of building codes and regulations.
Position:
This is a full-time, hourly, in-office position held Monday through Friday. Individual candidates who meet the job requirements and offered a position will be compensated based on their levels of education/training, experience, and other qualifications unique to them. The position starts at a compensation rate PHP 45,000 – PHP 60,000 per month depending on experience and skill, with a 6 month training & probational period. At the conclusion of the probationary period, there will be a performance evaluation and the potential for a permanent position with a raise.
