Mobile Application QA Tester (E-commerce)

Job description

We are currently seeking a Mobile Application QA Tester to join our dynamic team, and to be assigned to one of our US-based clients. Our client is a dynamic software development company that powers mobile applications that blend e-commerce, rewards systems, and user engagement.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing our clients' customer's mobile applications on both iOS and Android devices, identifying bugs, reporting issues, and working closely with our client's development team to ensure a high-quality user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly test mobile applications (iOS and Android) for functionality, usability, and performance.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of our backend platform to test features effectively.
• Create and maintain detailed spreadsheets, checklists, and processes for testing.
• Report bugs, inconsistencies, and issues to the development team through a task management system.
• Perform retests and ensure that all identified issues are resolved and fixed before release.
• Provide constructive feedback on new features to improve the overall user experience.
• Work closely with developers, ensuring no issue is overlooked and all changes are tracked.
• Follow agile methodologies to prioritize tasks and manage testing timelines.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience testing mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce systems, rewards programs, and user engagement features.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to create and maintain thorough documentation.
• Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently to identify and track issues until resolved.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, or similar) to create and track bug reports.
• Ability to learn new platforms quickly and test functionality from both the end-user and administrative perspectives.
• A passion for improving mobile app user experiences.

Requirements:

• iOS and Android smartphones with reliable internet access.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software or mobile app testing.
• Experience with e-commerce applications or mobile rewards systems is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
