Finance Specialist

Position Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Specialist to support daily finance and accounting operations. This role involves handling client invoicing, payroll support, financial record management, and compliance with Philippine government reporting requirements.

The ideal candidate has strong accounting experience, excellent attention to detail, and hands-on experience using Xero.

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Accounts Receivable

  • Prepare and send accurate client invoices using Xero.
  • Monitor billing records and ensure all billable transactions are properly recorded.
  • Respond to client inquiries related to invoices, payment status, and billing concerns.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain accurate accounts receivable records.

Compliance & Financial Reporting

  • Assist in preparing and filing government-related reports and tax requirements.
  • Process and monitor government contributions, including SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
  • Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation for internal review and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and Philippine regulatory requirements.

Payroll & Expense Support

  • Support payroll processing, including salary computation, deductions, and final pay preparation.
  • Monitor and reconcile company expenses and receipts.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate accounting records within the financial system.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero accounting software.
  • Familiarity with Philippine payroll processes, government contributions, and tax compliance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
