Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Team Leader who can both deliver technically as an Electrical Engineer and lead project teams effectively.

This is ideal for someone who thrives in project environments, can manage end-to-end electrical works, and is confident in handling testing, commissioning, and team leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management & Execution

  • Lead electrical works for construction and engineering projects from planning to turnover
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and compliant with standards
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Monitor project schedules, risks, and resource allocation

2. Technical (Electrical Engineering)

  • Review and approve electrical designs, plans, and specifications
  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and safety regulations
  • Troubleshoot technical issues during project execution

3. Testing & Commissioning

  • Oversee electrical testing procedures (load testing, power quality, system checks)
  • Validate system performance prior to project handover
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation

4. Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise engineers, technicians, and site personnel
  • Assign tasks and ensure productivity and accountability
  • Conduct performance reviews and coaching sessions
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement

5. Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Serve as point of contact for clients on technical and project matters
  • Present project updates and resolve escalations
  • Ensure client satisfaction and repeat business opportunities

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Project Completion Rate: % of projects delivered on time
  • Budget Adherence: Variance within approved project cost
  • Quality Metrics: Number of defects/issues during turnover
  • Safety Compliance: Zero major safety incidents
  • Testing & Commissioning Success Rate: First-pass approvals
  • Client Satisfaction Score
  • Team Productivity & Retention

Qualifications

  • Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE) in the Philippines
  • At least 5 years experience in electrical engineering
  • Minimum 3 years in construction project management
  • Experience in testing & commissioning (power systems, industrial, or commercial projects)
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Knowledge of PEC, safety standards, and project management tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
