Full job description

As an Immigration Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting clients through all stages of the immigration process. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end case workflows, ensuring compliance with immigration regulations, and delivering a high standard of service in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Duties:

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients requiring immigration support, providing advice on procedures, timelines, and potential challenges.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of immigration matters, including work authorisation and visa applications, from case initiation through to post-lodgement follow-up.
  • Prepare, collate, and review immigration forms and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with current regulations.
  • Submit visa and work permit applications to government agencies and authorities on behalf of clients.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and changes; interpret and apply immigration legislation to mitigate compliance risks for clients.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, concerns, and feedback, maintaining strong and positive relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal teams, government officials, consulates, embassies, and other external bodies to ensure smooth case processing.
  • Instruct and coordinate with internal operations teams (e.g., ANZ Operations) regarding case management tasks such as initiation, lodgement, and billing.
  • Generate clear, well-organized written communications and documentation that require minimal edits.
  • Record, track, and update all relevant case data and milestones using the firm’s case management system, including delays, billing details, and post-lodgement requirements.
  • Identify and escalate potential risks or issues that may affect application outcomes in a timely manner.
  • Proactively follow defined procedures and timelines to ensure timely completion of tasks and compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
  • Contribute to the improvement and implementation of firm processes and policies to support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end processing of Australian visa applications, including:
  • Subclass 482 (TSS), 407, 491, 190, 189, 400, 186, and 494
  • Partner visas
  • Ensure compliance with Labour Market Testing (LMT) requirements
  • Facilitate skills assessments (OSAP, TRA, MSA, VETASSESS) and RPL applications
  • Prepare and lodge SBS nominations and support employer sponsorships
  • Handle citizenship conferrals and return resident visa applications

Qualifications:

  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in immigration caseworker and has excellent administrative experience in firm
  • Experience in Immigration Paralegal (PH or AU) is highly desirable
  • Educational attainment: preferably with legal background such as Political Science or Legal Management
  • Graduate in the area of legal studies is highly desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Resourceful with client focused mindset and a team player.
  • Proficient with technology and use of technology applications are recommended.
  • Able to get work done independently and within a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability in learning new applications quickly and work with tight deadlines if necessary
  • Keen to details is a must.
  • Any CRM experience will be ideal

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS (MUST HAVE)

  • Has own equipment (Laptop or Desktop) at least core i3 or i5 and a back-up equipment
  • Stable internet connection (at least 50 to 100 mbps upload and download)
  • Conducive home-office work set-up and noise canceling headset.
