Fun place to work
Team Leader/Supervisor (Former Employee) - Philippines - April 19, 2021
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedThe hardest part of my job was to maintain consistency with employees to report for work. Which is uncontrollable. The fun part is you get to meet a lot of good and right-minded people.
Pros
Brownies and beautiful ladies (kidding and serious).
Cons
Band-aid resolution

Hard manual labour
Preloader (Current Employee) - Calgary, AB - January 30, 2023
It was very fast paced. training is very brief and then you're kinda just throwing into working and expected to keep up but if you shadow enough people you can keep up pretty quick.

If you can get in stay
Feeder Operator (Former Employee) - Saddle Brook, NJ - January 30, 2023
Great job if they hire you permanent. 100% benefits. Strong union. The more seniority the more perks. Top pay in 4 years and lots of raises and bonus hours.

Productive and growth opportunity
Driver Helper (Former Employee) - Mesquite, TX - January 30, 2023
Busy work schedule. Opportunity to move up was a plus. Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles. Read maps and follow written or verbal geographic directions. Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivering goods. Obtain signatures and payments, or arrange for recipients to make payments.

Management is poor
Twilight Supervisor (Former Employee) - Wichita, KS - January 30, 2023
The upper management that is Full-Time is never on your side and you will never smile at work. As a part-time supervisor, you basically have no say or pull to do anything in the work environment and there are favorites.
Pros
Tuition
Cons
No Lunch, Miserable

The life of a UPSer
Sr. Administrator Assistant - Inventory (Current Employee) - Glendale, AZ - January 30, 2023
It is a welcoming place that is slightly laid back. The opportunity to learn all aspects of the business as well as work on personal development is ever present for those who seek to better themselves.
Pros
Fun people, occasional parties, opportunity
Cons
Work sourced through contracts

Jobs at UPS
Most unprofessional company I’ve ever worked for
UPS Driver (Former Employee) - Landover, MD - January 30, 2023
They lie about everything, this is the most unprofessional company I’ve ever worked for. They use you until they no longer need and then throw you away when they no longer need you. Please stay away from anything to do with UPS. This company needs to be exposed for the evil and deceitful things they’re doing to people. They will literally tell you anything to keep you around simply for there own benefit. The money isn’t worth all of the driving and labor you provide daily.
Pros
None
Cons
Unfair pay, disrespectful staff, unprofessional business

Awesome
UPS Seasonal Driver Helper (Former Employee) - Wilkesboro, NC - January 30, 2023
Fun and exciting enjoyed everything and every minute Good pay and great benefits. Opportunity for lots of overtime if you want it. Work life balance could be better if you have a family. Sometimes you have to work long days, but pay is good.

terrible in-house and regional(mid-atlantic) management
Operations Supervisor (Former Employee) - Reading, PA - January 30, 2023
Be expected to enforce safety and performance standards that are impossible to achieve concurrently. You will be blamed for all of upper management's poor decisions. You will be expected to abuse hourlies that are overworked.

Hard work, fun atmosphere, part-time
Package Handler (Former Employee) - Fort Worth, TX - January 30, 2023
The co-workers were great, and most of the managers, there, were terrific! All of the training was very helpful. Unfortunately, the company didn't offer sufficient hours for my needs, but the work was quite fun. If you like to work hard, loading or unloading packages of all shapes and sizes, in all temperatures, you like working at UPS. The part-time hours can work well for students and other people, as well.

Productive and labor intensive
Package Handler (Part-Time) (Former Employee) - Lynn Haven, FL - January 29, 2023
It was ok. After the fast season ended we were advised over text messages that were are being cut from the schedule. It is form someone just starting out. Not someone who is a responsible adult with bills.

Great temporary job
Seasonal Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - Bloomington, IL - January 29, 2023
If you don't mind being busy for a few hours each day, it's a great temporary job. They expect you to deliver all of the packages assigned to you but it's not an unreasonable number. They'll even adjust the amount of packages to something more suitable for you.

Co workers were great
Shipper (Former Employee) - Shepherdsville, KY - January 29, 2023
Coworkers are great and not much overtime but management is awful. Half of them are sleeping with each other and the other half just don't care. You don't get much overtime either.
Pros
Coworkers
Cons
Management

Don't work here
Supervisor (Former Employee) - Secaucus, NJ - January 29, 2023
If working in operations expect your entire career to be looking for another job. Except you don't have any time to look for another job, because you spend all your time trying to earn just a little bit more so you can make rent.

Great money, long hours but busy.
Manager (Former Employee) - San Diego, CA - January 29, 2023
Good place to work. Long hours but that means more money. Good place to get overtime if you like that. Managers are usually understanding. Cool uniforms.
