A decent work from home solution
Inbound Sales Representative II (Current Employee) - San Marcos, TX - January 28, 2021
I have been with TTEC just shy of 8 months. My first campaign was fast paced, challenging and involved a lot of customer de-escalation. The job was easy to learn though and I received a lot of great training and support with clear cut guidelines. I loved my TL and I came to really enjoy the job as well. Occasionally, we would be sent home early if call volume was down that day. I spent 3 months on this campaign. Then, TTEC put out an offer to gain licensing through their TTEC COI and join a new campaign making a bit more money. I applied and was accepted. The transition between campaigns was a mess. Everything is through email and a lot of things fall through the cracks as far as getting all your credentials switched over. There was a full week that I could not work for either campaign bc my creds were stuck in limbo. Training and licensing for my second (current) campaign lasted for 8 weeks and wasn't without it's own headaches as far as poor communication from the people directing you goes. You really have to be able to go with the flow at this company. For me, the pay and benefits and privilege of working from home makes it feel worth the trouble. For this 2nd campaign, I was sent all the equipment needed, whereas I had had to use my own laptop for the first project. I do have some regrets about moving up from a CSR I to an ISR II. Sales goals are becoming more and more unrealistic to meet and write ups are given much more liberally in this campaign. The pay is good and the job itself isn't unpleasant, but the metrics we are expected to meet are high and the pressure is intense. -
Pros
Benefits, accrued paid wellness days, bonuses, incentives, work from home
Cons
Short breaks, bad communication from leadership, Random forced time off, stressful

Cheated employees
Inbound Sales Representative (Former Employee) - Springfield, MO - November 7, 2019
They did not pay for all hours worked. Changed commission structure in the middle of the month cheating employees out of commission. Work environment is demeaning and abusive.
