Been here for at least few years. Experience should depends on which team you'll be assigned. At least on our team, the environment is relaxed and organized.

Great environment, and work life balance

Workload was enough and you can achieve work life balance. There is nothing bad that I have experienced during my stay there. But, I won't recommend it for fresh grads since the technology used is old, so if you are looking for modern technologies and you want to challenge yourself, this is not the place for you. But if technology is not a problem, then I highly recommend Thales.

Decent Company

I've been with company for at least few years. Teammates are helpful and leads are experienced. Benefits are ok and management is also trying their best to address employees' needs.

Worklife balance

It is fun to work here, management is supportive and can achieve worklife balance. Work can be stressful sometimes but only if you have just started. Decent salary increase only.

Management is poor. People are under paid.

The good thing in Gemalto is that people are very nice but knowing that it is an international company with a lot of clients, the benefits here in the Philippines is poor and basic. If you would like to grow your career in IT more than just your coding skills, there is far more better companies other than Gemalto.

Fun workplace, friendly environment

Work life balance is highly promoted here but there are cases you will need to render extra hours if there are urgent projects which is typical in an IT company. Salary is average and yearly increase is little so make sure to check package offer if okay with you. There are always recreational and fun activities.

Productive and fun work place.

i enjoyed every single day at Gemalto. I learned a lot of things about the production of the items, i also satisfied when it comes to the salary that they provide. The most enjoyable part is when they treat there employees as a reward to great production rate.

The Most enjoyable part of the Job is working with my very supportive managers and team player colleague

Gemalto Philippines Inc is the top company in digital security globally specially in Banking and telecommunications EMV and SIM Card technology. I'm responsible for managing new product Introductions or process development and improvements for product manufacturing. Collaborate with multidisciplinary global teams across the company to refine and improve quality delivery of the products that secure the digital security. Maintain Perso equipment to provide safe, reliable & efficient production, while adhering to all OSHA regulations/policies. Fault find and repair to provide optimum up-time of Perso equipment. Provide instruction and guidance to production operators on machine operation and basic maintenance. Liaise with equipment suppliers to undertake machinery diagnostics / upgrades and modifications. Assist in the control / management of spares while ensuring the database is up to date. Escalate all issues of downtime to the Maintenance Manager or Production Team Leader and enter details of maintenance and downtime in Engineers machine log. Ensure continual high standards of housekeeping. Provide Technical Support to other Gemalto/Source One facilities The Most enjoyable part of the Job is working with my very supportive managers and team player colleague.

Had fun here

I had my best years here. The people are great -- technically and personally. Opportunities to move up the ladder are there, though it will require a lot of effort as the requirements becomes harder as you move up.

Gemalto is a stable company, it is the company you would like to stay forever. The benefits are really good except that there is no work life balance.

The opportunity to work with the Marine Corps on the Optimized Top Owl (OTO) program truly was an honor.

I was very impressed with everyone on the project. The mission was to transition the Marine Corps from a cockpit display to a helmet mounted display system compatible with new style Hueys and Cobras. The team’s dedication to supporting the product and the Marines was commendable. As the sole Field Service Representative assigned to the 11th MEU and later the East Coast, my face-to-face contact with anyone from Thales was minimal. Despite the distance, everyone on OTO made a concerted effort to share information and collaborate to find viable solutions. The position was dynamic and responsibilities varied to include pilot training, logistic support, failure tracking, software configuration, etc…
