Weird Set up

Very strange place to work, massive disconnect between staff and immediate line manager. Training designed to get you and get you taking calls as quick as possible

Pros

Free Parking

You'll either love it or hate it

Target driven, minimal training and extremely high turn over of staff for this reason. 15 people in my training group, 2 made it to live calls. system barely work and customers are usually very unhappy. If you have a very calm personality and don't mind stress you'll be fine.

Pros

Wfh, most TL's are nice

Cons

late shifts, bad training

It is what it is, thats pretty much how i can describe it.

Working for Teleperformance as a Call center representative is just that. You are a front line agent expected to take calls from customers whether they are Nice or rude and attempt to fix it. If you're expecting anything grandeur about working here then look elswhere.the pay is Okay (usually 14.75 CAD/hr), but maybe 2-3 dollars more per hour would REALLY help work enthusiasm.Training is a challenge if you don't GET IT the on the first day. The trainers are friendly, helpful and will take your questions no matter how dumb. However i can't say it wasn't rush, and I can feel a sense of urgency when they talk about us taking calls. The hours are solid, Paid breaks and a 30 minute lunch in the middle of they Day.The workplace is REMOTE so you don't have to worry about going to places. However once you start taking calls, you are pretty much on your own. Sure they said you can ask for help, but we can only put customers on hold for a most 2 minutes, and that is not enough time to get information from anyone, what with the limited amount of people in the team.TLDR: Just another Minimum wage job

Pros

Paid breaks, Friendly people, Remote

Cons

Rushed training, Little help from higher ups, ALOT of information

These people are absolutely ridiculous, they are all over the place.

We were thrown to so many different “groups” during “training “ that we didn’t even know where to go when we clocked in, people were sitting for days not doing anything because team “leaders” weren’t keeping up with everyone. Horrible experience.

good organization

This is a good organization for freshers and experienced people as they have multiple international processes. They have good job security and also good management.

Good but

It's good if you are a gofer and take demands from management and Customer complaints without ever feeling "abused or overworked. The biggest reward is offering help to a customer whose account has screwed up.

Pros

The money and unlimited overtime

Cons

Management lies terribly

Starter job

If you have never had a job before, this may be a good option to become familiar with the job marketplace. Job duties aren't stressful but expectations can be unrealistic

Phillips Life Device

I can't recommend this company. I recognized very early on that it was toxic. I couldn't enjoy my training at all. Not a team oriented environment. Cut throat.

not at all good place for work

A day at work in TP is the worst, they want machines not human beings for the same. Management(HR) is fully corrupted. Good:- If we are machines, agents can work there having no problem. Bad:- The Day you stand with your opinion & point another fault in good faith will be your last day.

Pros

A corrupt person can work easily with corrupted company, this quality of company

Cons

each & every level of management is full of biased people

Quantity over quality

Management care more about targets and numbers than the quality of your work, staff who would make no effort to actually help customers and just forward them to another team would be rewarded for getting through so many yet staff who actually assisted customers and got the best customer feedback were reprimanded and often fired for not hitting targets of emails responded to or calls dealt with.

Pros

Good salary

Cons

Poor management

Good place to work

It is a fun and nice place to work. Call Centers are always stressful, depending on the campaign you can take back-to-back calls and some customers can also be difficult.

Pros

Nice enviorment

Cons

Back-to-back calls

Dont work here if you can avoid doing so

They do not care about their staff wellbeing whatsoever. My manager told me false information which I relayed to a customer, then when this was found out to be incorrect information it was me who was penalised for it.

Pros

None

Cons

Everything

Productive and fun

Good for newbies without BPO experience and HS graduates they will hire. Good compensation, plus rice allowance and great night differential and such, enjoy!

Very difficult to get a promotion

I met a lot of supervisors. If they are friendly, they are unxeperienced and unseful. If they are competent, they are very rude. Promotions are not related to meritocracy.

Pros

No

Cons

Please, learn the meaning of the word meritocracy before assigning a promotions.

Really bad experience

I started working for this company on the 4th of October and on the 26th of November my employment was terminated because I was having system issues that were completely out of my control, instead of supporting me like they should have done at this time they just got rid of me, it’s a very particular type of company, if your face fits you’re fine. I do not recommend working for them at all unless you want to be fired over nothing

Pros

Working from home

Cons

Extremely bad management and lack of support
