Good trainer , Offer great compensation and benefits . Offers hybrid set which is very convenient . Less time for transportation . However as No experience in Healthcare it Would be better if they provide assistance for Nesting . Fast pHased

Not a very good experience

Pros: the pay is good and they promote work-life balance. The cons are their tech stack is outdated, dev culture is not good. process is tedious, not very flexible for a big company, too many red tapes.

Virtual Assistant

Got the job by referral, and the pay is good for a student. Rarely have any problems with my boss and they are very understanding. Work includes managing google sheets, making letters in gdocs and messaging each member of sales team. Knowing how to edit (canva) is a plus but working with gsheets in better.

fast paced/very challenging account

The culture is very competitive and since you're handling a financial account sometimes you will get stressed and demotivated. there's no work/life balance.

Pros

competitive salary and benefits

Cons

You will receive a huge amount of calls within your shift

Bright like the Sun but burns as well

Overall no complains with the company. It is just that because of the pandemic, it has become more toxic because of deliverables. You really have to manage your time well here

One of the best company to work for

Good pay. Workplace culture is exceptional. Slow growth. Depending on the department, workload is manageable. Lots of opportunities for horizontal movement.

Pros

Work life balance

Cons

Systems are still old school

With good benefits but no work life balance

Overall I liked working with Sunlife (been a Sunlifer for almost 9 years), because of the benefits and great culture. The downside would be the workload and based on my experience It would depend on what department/unit you will be assigned that will determine the longevity and joy of your stay with the company.

Pros

HMO - if married all kids and spouse will be covered, if Single, parents will be also included, Benefits such as vision, shoe and rice allowance

Cons

Long hours of OT (but again depend on what department you will be assigned)

Challenging job and competitive salary

Sun Life is true to its purpose and they encouraged us to do our best and attend trainings to meet our goal. They always pay on time sometimes earlier than expected.

Great salary and compensation but no work-life balance.

Salary is great and the management but the work-life balance is not that good due to the one year in advance filing of leaves. They also have mandatory lunch OT. Lack of internal job opportunities. The culture and the incentives are great though.

Great

Great workplace. Friendly management. Trainers are great and fun to work with. A great place to stay if you are looking for career growth. Everyone respects everyone.

My managers were very supportive, generous, and understanding. It still depends on the team though. I was just lucky to be part of that amazing team.

It was a great place to work in because my managers were supportive. I left because of personal reasons, not because of anything bad about the company. They were quick to adapt to the changes brought about by the pandemic.

Pros

All

Cons

None

Productive and competitive

I worked part-time with Sun Life while working full time with IMS (Integrated Management Services, Inc.). Sun Life gives big opportunities to increase your monthly income and develop your marketing skills even more. The most enjoyable part of being a licensed financial advisor at Sun Life is when you get to secure a client's financial life.
