Productive and comfortable working environment

For the past 15 years working in puregold, I've learned and experienced different type of work beyond my designation,my co-worker and superior were my mentor during those years. I'm proud to be part of pure gold family.

Fun working , U will learn from your co workers.

Over all..Its fun and you will learn . Lots of reports that just keep on repeating 😆. But the process in store (SOP) is somehow too shallow and not keen. Lots of problem you will see.

If you are retrench, you will be just disregard, No one will help you even the HR who hired you, Will do nothing, Its in my Experience

It’s a good learning experience. Don’t expect much from the company benefits as they don’t value much of their employees.

a typical day at work, good for fresh graduates.No career advancement on the company. The management don't give importance to their employees. only upper management are being benefited.

LOVE YOUR JOB BUT DON’T LOVE THE COMPANY. They don’t value you. Work their if you want to learn as much as you want to. Make it as a stepping stone for your future job.

can be a great company to practice and harness your professionality, intrapersonal skills and interpersonal too. You need to have strong sense of authority when applying in this company. also during the interview, they told the applicants to come at around 9am but the district manager arrived at 1pm or 2pm in the afternoon.

The company doesn't give importance to its employees.

Lack of career advancement. The salary increase is very minimal.Being an auditor at the company will test your courage and patience since there's no boundary between the operation and audit department. If your audit review was not favorable to them you will be pressured every day since you don't have a separate workstation. You will face the store manager/officer daily and they will not treat you well. You will feel outcasted.

i hope that the management will somehow considered to be more engaging into store operations and not only in the back office.

i hope they could see how their people work in operations and how sick they are and how tiring and exhausted it was to work in such a stressful environtment with monstrous superior.i hope they could consider and acknowledge those who really work hard in the company.there are MANY of thems who are most likely living their lives in that kind of exhaustion without any appraisal or raise from the management itself.thats why MANY of them leave.

Good for IT Fresh Grads but beware of the typical pinoy culture workplace

This is a good place for IT to start your IT career specially if you are deployed in the strore/branch because you get to experience handling Servers (Windows/Linux) and other retail software/apps. You are basically the store/branch SysAd. This will also make you a good Tech support considering the challenges and struggle of supporting the back office team and other department which consists of mostly non-IT, and Tech Grannys. Not suitable for long term career because this company is definetly a capitalist company and are for profit. No employee engagement whatsoever. Once you're deployed that's it. You'll rot. If you are a current IT employee and read this review, I highly recommend you to gather all the skills and learnings in STRICTLY 1-3 years (3 years is actually too much lol). Of course this company don't know about the words "Work life balance(imagine you work 6 days, OTs are paid so you can pay for the tax deducted on your low base)" "Salary appraisal" "Growth". This review applies to other roles in the back office such Payables, Treasury, HR, Auditors, Admin, etc.

The work is challenging and you will learn a lot

Fun working environment, people will treat you as family. and you will learn a lot about Retail industry. The fun part is that i used to travel to many part of Luzon and Visayas to train and support for the store.

Light, workload, Passive knowledge, Chaotic management (Store-based), Fun/friendly colleagues, Shifting schedule

All and all it is fun to work on Puregold Price Club, Inc. it is just that there is no career advancement because they are not investing on their employees such as conducting paid trainings, seminars, etc. Also they must align a good benefits, salary compensation and incentives.

The company has many issues, they can't even give us good salary. No career growth, they are not good in their employee. Always check your benefits, no salary increase. EMPLOYEES ARE UNDER COMPENSTED AND NOT PROPERLY RECOGNISED.

Productive career and fast faced environment.

As Electrical Engineer, we make electrical designs and review plans from bigger projects. We handled multiple project monitoring and we travel often to sites. Workmates are friendly and made you feel as their new family. Bosses are so nice and always gives you advice to improve.

There's always a room for improvement

Not recommended for long term work. You will take 1 year for regularization and delayed salary raise.only 10% is the maximum raise of your salary depending on your performance every year. Ratings are subjective. Poor management

Some bosses required employees to do jobs beyond their job descriptions

It's tiring because there shouldn't be any vacant time to relax. You have to be moving every second or else you'll be seen as a lazy employee. The compensation is not enough for the work they are requiring you to do.

The workplace and the environment is not desirable but its a good stepping stone. I was the only IT personnel so the workload is heavy. Benefits are unlikely fair for the employees.
