Happy place and productive workplace

Indeed Featured review

Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) is a government identity in the Philippines which covers the health insurance of all the filipinos. I enjoyed working in this company as they give me opportunities to grow and explore different areas in medical claims industry. My colleagues and the management was great and value each employee.

Health Insurance Company that aims in providing free health insurance to the marginalized people.

It is a busy office since people are coming in especially the family members of the patients. The employees are productive and friendly. The hardest part of the job is when a people try to ask for help and then you can not give the help that they need. It is a very complicated job though.

Pros

Free Rice Allowance

Cons

Low Salary

Overall, quite a promising office environment.

A typical day at work meant a whole day sitting in front of the computer - from early in the morning to late in the evening, encoding piles of insurance claims.

fun but low salary

learned more on computer skills/encoding learned a lot outside the clinical area of nursing however, it is low paying job and takes 5-10 years in order to be a regular/permanent employee..otherwise, we remain as contractuals,

family oriented work schedule but poor benefits.. we enjoy weekends/holidays off and office hours work but no monthly benefits given

Routine type of work on weekdays. A very challenging job in terms of dealing with highly toxic clients. A friendly environment though crab mentality is always up. Hardest part of the job is being poorly compensated despite the loads of work you do. I really enjoyed anniversary and Christmas bonus where food is free and entertainment is held

Pros

office hours, weekends and holidays off

Cons

no benefits, project based-contract
