Recovery resolutions rep (Former Employee) - Alabang - November 16, 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedThe management is very easy to work with. Very good compensation and salary package as well. There is career growth in this company. The only downside is that offshore clients can be a bit demanding.

Overall good company but
Fraud Specialist (Former Employee) - Makati - November 24, 2023
Optum is good company for starters. Yearly increase is guaranteed, but it doesn’t add up to much. I’ve been with the company for 6 years with outstanding performance but most of the increase were 3%. Mgt stated it’s because I’m already earning maximum incentive per month (about 5k plus).

worst company, exploitation at its finest.
CSR - Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Quezon City - November 1, 2023
At the outset, the company appeared to be very supportive, particularly towards students. However, the overall experience heavily relies on the assigned manager. In my case, my time at the company was rather unpleasant due to a manager displaying tendencies of power control and excessively demanding overtime work.Managers should acknowledge that their team's success directly benefits them. To foster a successful team, they should lead by example, be actively present, and consistently appreciate the team's efforts, no matter how small. Using manipulation and gaslighting will never lead to genuine improvement. I'm just so glad i didn't pushed through with the promotion of being a trainer. So happy to be finally out of this company.

Toxic environment
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Alabang - October 18, 2023
They only care about the metrics. Company doesn't care about the well being of the employees. Job description doesn't match the workload and no compensation for it. No OT pay. Also, they didn't give the whole Milestone bonus.

Good benefits but work was challenging
Claims Specialist (Former Employee) - Philippines - October 1, 2023
Good benefits but work was challenging. The process itself is tedious and time consuming making it impossible to meet the quota for the day. However, quota can be waived for valid reasons.

CSR (Former Employee) - Quezon City - September 25, 2023
Inhouse BPO in PH. Pay and benefits are great. I have seen my former teammates getting promoted. They have retirement fund now . As any other BPO, strict on lates and attendance.

Good company
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Cebu City, Cebu - September 6, 2023
Optum is one of the best BPOs right now in terms of benefits. Working environment depends on the account that you'll be assigned to. Just be attentive during training, don't hesitate to ask questions if you're confused with the product training.

I have to commend the supervisors and trainers in optum.
Customer Service Associate (Former Employee) - Quezon City - August 31, 2023
I've been with this company for 2 years and i experienced all the the upskilling real quick after I was endorsed to live prod. the work load is ridiculous but the salary is stagnant. they will push you to your limits but not in a rewarding way. but all in all i stayed there because of of my supervisor because i dont want him to be stressed a lot of the employees chose to leave because of the constant upskilling and heavy volume of calls.
Pros
Amazing supervisors, Qvc, Training team
Cons
Workload is ridiculous, stagnant salary, no wfh, politics

Stressful management low salary
Claims Processor (Current Employee) - Quezon City - August 28, 2023
I was transferred to retro claims and the management wasn’t really good. Manager didn’t really apply equal benefits to the different teams. Workload is stressful.

Toxic management
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Cebu - August 21, 2023
Politics everywhere. No empathy to employees. If you're not close to higher management you will not be promoted. They always upgrade the skill of thier agent but no salary increase. Too much pressure
