Great culture, great benefits but pay could be better
Learning Specialist (Current Employee) - Quezon City - January 25, 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedGreat culture. Benefits are really good. Big on employee engagement. I like the company's values. There's a lot of room to learn and grow because the company emphasizes development and learning. Work/life balance is great. The pay could be better though.

Fast paced and stressful
Portfolio Reconciliation Analyst (Former Employee) - Cebu City - January 11, 2023
The job really is huge and complex specially if you are working under investment division or insurance claims. Good thing is your team mates are very friendly and sociable. 4-6 hours overtime most of the time just to finish workloads of the day.
Pros
Team is really fun and warmth as always.
Cons
Low salary compared to other offshore services.

All good
Manager (Current Employee) - Quezon City - December 2, 2022
Company indeed cares for their employees. However, the real challenge is the culture on the business units being supported because sometimes, they will make you feel as service providers not business partners.

Jobs at Manulife
Almost perfect company but with some shallow-minded colleagues
Customer Service Professional (Current Employee) - Cebu - November 26, 2022
The company offers multiple benefits. They even offer medical assistance and you only need to provide proof of the medical expenses. I did not like the culture in their contact centre as it is in conflict with mine: backstabbing, gossiping, talks about s*x, etc. They will bully/harass you especially when you are in a call with a client by calling you names or making their voices loud. I tried to call them out but they are very good at deflecting the situation, even the supervisor is on their side. Not conforming with their standards such as partying for a drink after shift and they will definitely cut you off from the group or some of your access with the work tools even though all you wanted is a good sleep since the job is at night. P. S. Be a people pleaser.

Productive and helping secure their lives
Insurance agent (Current Employee) - Makati - October 31, 2022
Working in Manulife will develop and improve salesmanship and dealing with different people. From super rich client, affluent to middle class. The bad thing to consider, if you dont know the product you are selling and giving value to your client. You wont be able to close sales.

There should be an option to choose if you are not eligible to work during grave yard shift. There will be a learning guide all you have to do is to search. However there will be a difficult to understand every article stated but you will learn it during the process. It is everyday of learning, every day there will be changes and all communication guides is provided.
