collaborative and dynamic team
Head of Marine People Philippines (Current Employee) - Manila, Philippines - November 28, 2021
Maersk provides opportunities to those who performs although there are not many trainings provided to cultivate the staff. Each individual is in charge of their training and development. The organization is flat, opportunities are seldom and hard to come by and good employees do transfer to other companies to search for a greener pasteur. The reorganization comes also frequently.
Pros
strong diversity and inclusion
Cons
long hours, salary is not competitive gor those tenure in the company

Work life balance
Configuration Engineer (Former Employee) - Manila - March 22, 2020
There is a sense of fulfillment every time you go home since they will let you handle big projects and assign you significant tasks or at least for my role. Also, I am on mid shift and has once a week work from home. Although, there is a lack of processes and mismanagement, rating instructions per individual are not comprehensive enough.

Document Analyst (Former Employee) - Manila Philippines - August 26, 2018
Everyone is sharing their daily experiences regarding work matters and how to make it easy in dealing with the customer. The Management give us training and workshop. The hardest part of the job is when we are rendering double shift from night shift due to workload. And most enjoyable part was team building, family day and other recreational activities.
Pros
monthly work recognition
Cons
extended work hours due to workload

Stress free
Business Intelligence Senior Associate (Former Employee) - Manila, Philippines - November 21, 2017
A typical day at work would be answering email inquiry regarding reports. Most used way to communicate is through chat and or email. Calls are only made if there are meetings.
Team leaders are competitive but appreciates their comrades. They assess work load per staff to have it distributed evenly within the group.
They management acknowledges the hard works and extra miles the employee do during their shift.
