If you have patience and determination to better yourself
Groundsman (Current Employee) - Clarksville, TN - January 17, 2022
Amazing people, alittle over the top with reliance. For example been in perfect attendance (2nd shift)since the beginning but things happen and only called 3 days and already giving me mixed signals. Very easy to be over worked and taken advantage of but once u crease in and fit where you want to be it’s easy going.
Pros
Great environment
Cons
Ur life is this job

Good place to learn foundational industrial engineering environment
Manufacturing Associate (Current Employee) - Clarksville, TN - December 12, 2021
There is a lot of over time especially if you are a salary member (expect at least 10~12hr/day). Good place to start if you want to learn how manufacturing environment works and how each department affects each other. I respect the Korean culture for making sure things get done right, having sense of responsibility and ownership of the work even if it's not required of you. However, that is also what makes the job difficult because you are expected to be there almost all the time and doing all the things. Lastly, every weekend there is work and that is one of the reasons why there's no work-life balance.
Pros
Good Benefits / Insurance, A lot of work to do (can keep you busy), get hands on pretty much everything (within and beyond your work scope)
Cons
- No life/work balance - a lot of overtime / weekend production - stressful environment

Great job long hours
Assembler (Former Employee) - Clarksville, TN - November 21, 2021
It's great job for someone starting out. 10 hours a day sometimes 6 days a week. Company paid benefits are a plus but pay could be better. Management is a joke also HR as they have the highest turnover rate than regular shop floor employees
Pros
free benefits
Cons
long hours

Toxic work culture
Material Associate (Former Employee) - Clarksville, TN - November 17, 2021
Toxic work culture (constant yelling and profanity), no work-life balance (16+ hour days), no structure, high turnover, HR only cares about recycling (only cares about recruiting to cover high turnovers).
Pros
cheap lunch options
Cons
Korean from Korea

Not an interesting place to work
Production Associate (Former Employee) - Clarksville, TN - November 5, 2021
Clarksville location is a factory. Mix of Korean and American work culture. Somewhat stressful and long hours. Little opportunity for doing engineering work - instead you get administrative things that need to be done in a factory.
Pros
Benefit. Good people depending on department
Cons
Long hours (exempt). Not many colleagues like to work here. Fast turnover.

Horrible polices and management team
Assembly Worker (Current Employee) - Clarksville, TN - September 23, 2021
Would NOT suggest, I understand places are constantly changing but that is a understatement when LG. Within three months time there were at least 5 policy changes that made absolutely no sense. The management is horrible. If you werent there since the start up of this locstion you were treated like complete dirt. Just absplutely no.

easy work but long hours
Assembler (Current Employee) - Clarksville, TN - September 19, 2021
Everything for the most part is easy. Some jobs are harder than others BUT manageable. 10 hour days and 6 days a week. The hours are during business hours, so you cant take care of any business AT ALL. The reason why most people quit is because they are not used to standing on their feet for 10 hours. Management is terrible and they don't really care about you. They only care about hitting the goals... even if that includes you being hurt. Easy work but long hours and terrible management.
Pros
easy work
Cons
no work life balance at all

Ehhhh
Assembler (Former Employee) - Clarksville, TN - July 24, 2021
Decent job, good environment if your willing to make money this definitely will do , it’s just that the organization and management is not the best ideal for a big company. They care so much about their products but they need to care more about the employees.

Great co-workers and management failure.
Preventive Maintenance Technician (Current Employee) - Clarksville, TN - July 19, 2021
Great place to start a career. Not a place for advancement or good pay. Fantastic co-workers who deserve better. Disrespect and mistrust against non-Koreans regardless of work performance. Great health benefits. No real leadership. Extreme lack of communication.
Pros
Great benefits.
Cons
No real vision for advancement or retention.

No work life balance
Material Associate (Former Employee) - Clarksville, TN - July 15, 2021
This company does not respect you as a human being. They treat you like a robot. If you started doing an overtime, they will ask you to do more and more again. If you have to join this company, just leave at 4pm everyday as work hours are 7am to 4pm. Some of my colleagues leave at 2 or 3 am and come back at 7am. I am not trying to make this company look bad. I am just telling you the truth. NO work life balance.
Pros
Lunch is only 5 dollar.
Cons
No work life balance.

You'll have absolutely no life working at LG Electronics. We work 10 hours a day. Basically six days a week because we work a lot of Saturdays. So there is no time off to spend with family.

Terrible company and management
PM Mechanic (Former Employee) - Clarksville, TN - June 9, 2021
Do not recommend. Management is terrible, company does not offer anything for advancement. Leads just talk down on each other and aren’t going to help you in anyway.

No time off
Production Worker (Current Employee) - Clarksville, TN - June 4, 2021
Working 6 days a week. Company is reluctant to provide the tools that you need. All they want to talk about is how “this is a startup”. Would not recommend this place.
