Great place to work
Housekeeper (Former Employee) - Laurinburg, NC - September 5, 2022
managers are respectful and fair, they recognize your work ethics and shows their appreciation. Working for the holiday inn was a great experience and something new for me. I enjoyed my time there, but it was difficult to maintain. The owners liked to keep the team small and I would work 5 days even 6 days straight due to no coverage. And the shift was long when you had no one there to give you a break or relieve you for a second. Glad I got the experience and thankful for my time there."
Pros
Respect & appreciation
Cons
Under paid

It depends on the day
Housekeeper (Current Employee) - Reading, Berkshire - February 5, 2022
The job is easy but quite heavy job (if you have a good physique). It pays well. There are a lot of rooms to do in peak seasons but at the beginning of the year, there is no job to do.

Good people to work with
Housekeeping (Current Employee) - Commerce, GA - September 22, 2021
It is not a bad place to work but you will not get 40 hours. Most days you only work 5 or 6 hours and so you dont get a very good paycheck to try to live off of. They have no benifits whatsoever. No sick time, no personal time, no health Insurance, no 401k. No holiday pay. Nothing. No matter how long you work there.
Pros
Good people
Cons
No benefits

Pros
Discounts on rooms
Cons
Short breaks long hours no help

Housekeeper
Housekeeper (Current Employee) - Morgantown, WV - August 11, 2020
Not much room for advancement, might just be the hotel I'm at, not the entire company. Wish I could work more hours and have the opportunity to move forward in advancement.

What you would expect...
Housekeeping Assistant (Former Employee) - Dundee - February 23, 2020
Housekeeping is housekeeping. Hotel in general is fab to work for. Staff are lovely, its just a busy environment. Days aren’t too long, good length of breaks are given though. Only bad thing about the job is how hot the hotels can be during the summer when working.
