I work as production/assembly worker at the Newark location its the WORST PLACE TO WORK EVER! They treat you slaves and they don’t appreciate the workers! They are only concerned about attendance and will fire if you are late! The supervisors are full of Baloney! And dumb ! The leads are out to get you! They talk to disrespectfully they don’t appreciate hard working people! Not a good company at all! I only work there to collect a paycheck
Drama, the leads were good. Except for two. Good works break their backs. Bad works will flat out not work. Both will be the same. Tragic. Females are harassed constantly. I could go on and on. Bottom-line, it's ran by people who believe saying nothing will accomplish something.
Leaving at the end of your shift.
You have to work with felons until their backgrounds are finished.
I liked working there.great experience and loved the pay and the schedules. The team leads were cool, some young some older.if you wanna make some quick cash this is the job for you.and as long as you have reliable transportation you'll be here for the long haul.
Pay and schedule was great.
Too cold, not fair to thier Employees.
Literally was on my third day of working here worked with two different lines in one day on my third day. Line 1 Line assuming I’m going at a good pace so she switches me to the line behind me less items to put into the bag so I was quicker she tells me I’m going to fast. Going to fast can hold up the line I’m like ok. She switches me back to my original line and I overhear the supervisor asking why this line going so slow she says it’s these two referring to me and another lady that’s new as well. But she literally said I was going too fast but all of sudden her boss around I’m going to fast. So when she had to get on the line because the other lady had to use the bathroom she was going just as slow. Picking up 12 potatoes and 2 other items two of each at fast pace yeah ok. They were loud and I heard everything. That’s just one situation with one supervisor I have another story as well.
Close to home
Supervisors, line leaders negative attitudes
They need a union. They need to give us at least 40 hrs. a week , That's the bad . The good is , they open for change . We do need a 45 minute break though. We also need microwaves that work .
The job is easy to learn but the people may be hard to work with at times. Too much drama at work. You have to be on-time and not leave work early unless you are told to do so.
HelloFresh was, in my opinion, the best company I've worked for. No job is perfect, but they thrive to come very close in many aspects. I had to move due to unforseen circumstances, but am looking forward to going back one day returning and growing with the company.
worked for 2 years and a month just to resign, the job is easy but the foundation needs a lot of focus as far with building a proper team, having leads that can barely lead, etc. rather leave for my overall mentality than to stay there working with no purpose of growth
work decent hours that differs depends on the volume of each shift
management, lack of communication
I would have to say that hellofresh is nt fair to their employees that work their some of the leader talk back to their managers on the floor also they let some of the employees go for no reason without a write up or a warren
short breaks sometime none
Assist on assembly line with packaging of frozen food products to be shipped. Everybody worked as a team to get the products completed for shippment. It was a cold storage environment so you had to wear heavy clothing, thermals, jeans (no sweat suits) gloves and hats to keep warm.
Cold temp, End of work order at times to go home before sc heduled shift is done
