Loved working at Goodwill and how you can do a little of everything. The only part is that they would make you do Team leader stuff paying you the same as you start.

What is the best part of working at the company?Meeting new people everyday. Most were raslcist. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?People been rude and calling you out your name. when I worked here for a few months I loved it. my co-workers were amazing and the management was the best people ever truly felt like such a fun job.

Very productive and rewarding

What is the best part of working at the company?Meeting new people and learning about different cultures.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Asking customers to keep an eye on their children while they are shopping. Some customers will let their children destroy the store and don't take responsibility for their children's behavior.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?The work environment was nice and we were all different races. It was cool and everyone pretty much got a long with each other. No work drama!What is a typical day like for you at the company?Stayed busy with a smile 😁 work wasn't hard and I enjoyed working there and always had a good day, most of the time

decent position

Pay could be better, co workers cycle through a lot but generally good people. doing good work for the community matters, and that is what keeps me there.

What is the best part of working at the company?The manager team is awesome in the Cabot store. Easy work, nice coworkers, and flexible hours but poor pay

Pretty repetitive work; hanging clothes, sorting stuff, cleaning. My coworkers are nice and many of them have been there for years. However, it is depressing to witness how rarely they get raises or promotions despite all their hard work. Everyone makes just barely minimum wage regardless of their position/loyalty to the company, and that doesn’t seem to be changing any time soon.

Fun at first, but then very tiring

They had me working in one position at first and then moved me around the whole store working as electrical, shoes, sorting, small wares, large wares, sales floor, and even cashier because they didn’t want to hire new people. The manager is really nice, the assistant managers were nice at first, but they would talk bad about me and other coworkers which caused them to lose a lot of hard working people. The work environment is a bit toxic but it’s a decent short term good job.

Great 😃😃 to get on my schedule for the week of March 1st and next week or so if you want to get on my schedule I will be there around the same time as I can get it done

The managers were really nice and I enjoyed the work environment. I thought communication could’ve been a little better but it was a decent minimum wage job

Fun environment

The bosses are all understanding and willing to help with any scheduling needs or help during the day. The employees and customers all create a fun work environment too

They absolutely will take advantage of you

Typically a hostile work environment that expects more than what can be done in a day.. Some of the materials that are handled are even biohazardous..

Family environment very productive very fast pace very family orientated

At typical day at work, opening up, cleaning the front counters, opening the doors, letting the customers in smiling constantly helping them out with whatever they need lunches and brakes on time and it’s just a wonderful place to be

You’re around lots of nice and friendly people

A stepping stone job only.

For the most st part the workers are good people. Management was uncaring as to personal problems that affected a person's work schedule. Health limitations were not taken into consideration

PTO free lunches etc. assistance with rent, fines relating to a person's licence

Same amount of production whether you were there 30 hours or 40 hours

Bad atmosphere

Management plays favorites, doesn't care about their employees, allows for certain people to be treated special. You're expected to do multiple jobs for the same rate of pay as someone who only has 1 job.

Loved helping people!

Enjoyed working with a bunch of people that wanted to help people in need. We offered food and clothing to prop in need. Pay was good. Be willing to work with people with disabilities.
