A productive place to work and grow

Definitely it will challenge you and learn other skills during your tenure in GBSS. I learned a lot during my stay and actually reached my skill goals. Although GBSS is not like other big companies but definitely a quiet place to work.

The only small problem that I experience with GBSS is the availabilty of my trasnporation going to work and going home as I located in Province area. GBSS is located in City in Manila. I can say GBSS is a perfect workplace for me, as I love my job and love doing them everyday.

GBSS has accounts/teams with reasonable schedules and approachable officers. Company policies are fair. Everyone is easy to work with which makes the job less stresful.

Pros

Fixed morning shift, easy to deal with, work-life balance, BGC location is fun to work at

Cons

Limited transport options going inside BGC, yearly appraisal not practiced in all accounts

They really care about the employees. They try to find ways to make their employees feel secured when it comes to work. Country Manager may seem to look snob physically, but he is approachable and so far, one of the best country manager I've ever encountered. working in GBSS made me feel like I am just working at home. HR and admin are approachable as well. You will not hesitate to talk to them.

productive but fun is never enough

Good company for introvert people. Nothing else. It's not well organized. TL's are strong but the skills were not well transferred to their subordinates.

Normal working schedule with weekend offs. You'll have enough time to reunite and spend time with family after work. The job isn't stressful with reasonable goals and statistics.

After establishing the entity and confirming that the financial and efficiency-related benefits had been proven, GBSS commenced providing BPO services to other entities who were wanting to commence offshore operations in the Philippines.
