A good company

- SInce the company is a Manning Agency, everyday we've encountered a lot of seaman reporting, follow up about their line ups, allotment and where and when they are going to be schedule for dispatch. - When I started here, there's so many things that I've learn that it's new to me like scanning to documents, visa processing, contract processing, endorsement of trainings, how to deal and communicate with the seaman and owners and principals, and be a team player. - when it comes to work place, it's peaceful. - the hardest part of the job is when there's an urgent and you will encounter a lot of pressure. - the most enjoyable part of the job is when you accomplished all the needs to be finish on that day.

Pros

free lucnh, health card

Cons

you can't avoid over time

Employees are treated like member of the family

It is fun to be a part of Elburg Shipmanagement Phils., Inc., your working hours is from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (sometimes you need to extend a little more time). I learned a lot of new experiences especially when it comes to documentations and decision making, great workplace and there is no discrimination. The hardest part of the job is when you need to extend working hours due to revision of documents and re-assignment of top brass officers when needed.

Pros

Free lunch and car service

Cons

sometimes you have to extend working hours

Productive

I learned how to be patient from work and how to deals with different nationalities; respect their laws, cultures and traditions. Working on cruise ship was already enjoyable but the most was having experienced in different places abroad. Hardest part of my job was working during rough sea. and when got bad news from home.

Fun working with the crew and officemates

I learned a lot about seamen. What roles should they do on the ship, what rank they belong to, how to read a seaman's book, how to identify dry and liquid vessels and the most important of all, how to interact nicely with people in every way.

Pros

Free Lunches, Free Snacks

Cons

Long hours

It's my Auntie Company, Have a privilege to work with her and to excel my skills and to broaden my qualifications.

It's my Auntie Company, Have a privilege to work with her and to excel my skills and to broaden my qualifications. This is my stepping stone and my first work for her business. Know to handle different people and do my duties and responsibilities in the minimum work of time and being flexible to do my task. Actually Italian Maritime Academy is her company too a sister company for the training center of the elburg shipmanagement phils. inc.

Productive and full of action

A typical day at work is a day full of action. Once action is there, we'd be able to identify the areas of priority, and we are able to get better because it seems that every action encountered, particularly with seafarers, are the next step to precision. This is a multi-cultural environment and everyone is different. so i guess that it is important, above all, that as an employee and colleague, we should be able to blend, if not please, everyone. The hardest part of the job is when the coordination between the staff is gone. because no matter how urgent / rush something is, everythings gets better when everyone gives his share. The most enjoyable part of the job is growth.

Pros

Medical care

Cons

super multi tasking
