Higher Salary/Non-toxic environment
Customer Solutions Officer (Current Employee) - BGC - November 29, 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedCiti offers a very great salary and you have liberty when it comes to taking your breaks (first/last break/lunch break), and VLs. However, there were times that the workload will be very heavy (depends on the department you'll be in), there's also shifting schedule.
Pros
High salary and good benefits, non -toxic environment
Cons
work load, shifting schedule, there were KPIs that are so high standard to achieve

Jobs at Citi
competitive salary but toxic workplace
KYC Analyst (Current Employee) - Taguig City - November 6, 2023
Salary wise, I would recommend Citi. But if you are planning to grow your career, better find a different company. Promotions are only limited to those who are close to bosses and management. Managers doesn't give a dmn about their employees and would only care about passing their stats. Politics is also prevalent here so, expect the extreme competition inside. Aside from that, workload is also nonstop.
Pros
competitive salary, hmo benefits
Cons
heavy workload, politics, toxic workplace culture

Fun workplace, supportive leads
Manager (Current Employee) - Taguig City - October 18, 2023
The culture is very diversed, endless opportunities, supportive leads, but technologies are not advanced. So hard to keep up with the technologies, applications comparing other companies which are more advanced.

Good pay and awesome people
Workforce Management Analyst (Former Employee) - Philippines - October 10, 2023
Would love to go back if only they offer a work from home setup from where I am now. The culture and people are great here. The best company I’ve worked for the past 2 decades

Productive and Fun
Senior Analyst (Former Employee) - Taguig City - October 10, 2023
Salary was okay, benefits could’ve been better. Still a good company. If they will improve the benefits I might consider going back here. Learned a lot during my stay.

Dysfunctional Leadership: A Toxic Environment to Thrive In
Talent Acquisition Specialist (Former Employee) - Taguig - October 10, 2023
Working in the regional TA department at Citi presents some challenges that could benefit from improvement. Currently, there seems to be limited focus on continuous improvement and a lack of receptivity to feedback. The prevailing atmosphere encourages strict adherence to instructions without much room for questioning or discussion. Over the course of one year, there appears to be a notable turnover in the team, which may be related to management issues. It's also worth noting that there was a recent reorganization, during which the Vice President assured Sourcers of their job security. However, it appears that two Sourcers were ultimately let go despite this assurance.

Work Life Balance
Unit Manager (Former Employee) - BGC - October 9, 2023
Work Life Balance can be better. Salary is low for Unit Managers. Benefits are good though, just very difficult to tale vacation leaves and sick leaves are non convertible to cash

Customer Solutions Officer (Former Employee) - Philippines - September 26, 2023
It’s where I first started my career and it mold me to have world-class quality of servicing people. It showed me standards of how big corporations work and the escalation process is very admirable.

Citi still has funds to spend, at least for now, but will be a forgotten name in few years.
GFT (Former Employee) - Manila, Philippines - September 18, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? The company at this point provides competitive compensation and benefits What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Working for Citi involves having to deal with unnecessary politics. Tenured employees are not good role models of integrity and character - they gossip! Culture is really bad especially if you're introvert and not assertive. Projects that could take 3months would take more than a year because of bureaucracy and power plays. Worst company I've ever worked for. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Not conducive for character building - especially on integrity and honesty. People are managed and instead of being led. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Easy work but stressful people

Great work environment and leadership
Reference Data Management Analyst (Former Employee) - Taguig - September 12, 2023
The people are approachable and they value their employees. Great benefits in my opinion. The managers are very supportive and understanding. In my case, my managers were really supportive when I need assistance or if I have any questions regarding the process. The team is very wholesome and gives the feeling of a family. It will still depend of course on which team or department you'll be assigned but I'm very happy that I was a part of the team I belonged to.
Pros
Hybrid set up for some positions. Meal allowance for OTs
Cons
It's quite far from where I live

Lots career growth opportunities
Assistant Vice President (Current Employee) - Philippines - September 7, 2023
Citi is great place to work with. They can hone your potential and has good base salary. However, benefits are limited. They cannot even give HMO to parents as dependent.

Relatively higher pay for entry-level positions and good benefits
Financial Reporting Analyst (Former Employee) - Taguig City - September 7, 2023
Good pay, too much workload on peak days though. They have OT pay and meal allowance. Changes on how things are reported happen frequently so you got to be ready for that.

Productive and learned a lot, got to interact with a lot of client and internal and external stakeholders
Implementation Manager (Former Employee) - Philippines - August 27, 2023
Per my experience, workload can be heavy but my team was really great. I think experience can vary per department but mine was bearable due to my great manager and teammates
Pros
Opportunity to upskill and exposure to upper management
Cons
Long hours, not enough manpower, a bit long to be promoted

Overwhelming workload

Overwhelming workload in projects and not enough staffs to do the job. Challenging but not enough support from higher leads. Strict compliance of number of days of Return to Office.
