Capgemini really supports it’s employees in their career growth. They offer certifications that cost thousands of dollars but for us employees - it’s free.

Productive and fun workplace

You will be productive in terms of self-learning through free courses from coursera, pluralsight and many more and also fun because every quarter or sometimes monthly they have events and activities for employees

My favorite IT company!!!

Culture is VERY GOOD! They really care about employee, and always engage employee by many incentives. I really love how people and employee are all passionate and kind.

Bad higher management level employees

The culture is great at the start if you are over a year it will start to fade. Gatherings were gone now and the hardest part of the job was dealing with passive aggressive seniors especially if you are a fresh grad.

Pros

Good salary for fresh graduates

Cons

Bad upper management.

"Get the Future You Want" is not what it seems

Most times, you will be assigned to a work that isn't really matched with your skills and interests. You won't have that much opportunity to transfer since the projects are VERY limited. You will have to get yourself out of bed every morning because of the assigned work. Teams are also chaotic; even the client got confused of the distribution of tasks.Management won't be supportive of your decisions career-wise because they believe that the company is the best out there when, in fact, it's a seemingly dying company here in the Philippines. You will be gaslighted with your choices because managers know how to play with emotions. I would say they have a Master's degree in Manipulation. I would suggest going with other companies despite this company having a higher base salary. It's a trap.

Pros

Flexible work arrangement

Cons

Lack of support from management, no job security

Learned a lot!

workload depends on client, learned a lot from design to deployment. They have different events for engagements. You will learn a lot from the first two months in the company

Stressful environment

Not transparent to its employees. Had the worst experience as the environment is very stressful. Employees can really get tired but no actions have been done.

Great company to work

Great culture, and lots of projects and opportunities. The local management value their employees, and have many employee engagement programs. Assigns also challenging projects.

No work life balance. Company prioritizes clients over employee well-being

No work life balance. Company prioritizes clients over employee well-being. Employees are over utilized but under compensated. Upper management treats employees as if they’re replaceable.

Pros

Once a month onsite reporting

Cons

Employees are over utilized

Great time as someone who's new to consultancy

I had the best time learning the ways in the corporate world and in change management working here at Capgemini. But unfortunately, I had to be laid off due to redundancy.

Lot of benefits

Great benefits with education, trainings and certification, health insurance, allowances, incentives and bonuses. Workload depends on the client so far work-life balance for me.

Fun workplace

Monthly employee engagement. Promotes work life balance. Has in-depth onboarding for new hires. Low yearly increase. Great colleagues. Hybrid set-up (2 days a week).

Fun but….

IT personnel - not approachable always irritated when you ask assistance. Lobby guards are nicer compared to them!HR - unorganized does not keep track of requirements submitted and even breached data privacy lawsOperations - managers are very supportive

Work life balance but unstable

high salary, good benefits, worklfe balance, fun colleagues, free trainings and certifications but they can lay you off easily even if you’re enrolled in a project

Started like a dream, ended up like a nightmare

Good compensation for starters. It was promising at first not until they laid off 50 of us. They lack projects so it's the managers' incompetence projecting that they can pay x amount of people when they do not have a budget.

Good opportunity to learn and grow professionally

In my almost two years working with the company I have had many opportunities to work on challenging projects and get additional certifications. Pay and benefits are average.

No assurance

They can let you go easily without clear explanation. Toxic working environment. Poor management communication. I will definitely not recommend you working here. They don't care about their employees.
