Good co-workers, worst management
Billing (Former Employee) - Pasay City - June 9, 2023
Good stepping stone for fresh grads. You'll stay here because of good colleagues but you'll eventually leave because of bad management especially from HR and Admin department.

Good experience bad management
Site Architect (Former Employee) - Manila - June 8, 2023
The experience of being exposed to multiple trades was a learning experience I could take with me all throughout my career. It was a great experience learning wise but with regards to management they can improve more. Too much backlogs of submittals in which you as a site architect will get reprimanded on even though it is head office's fault.

Salary, multi-tasking
Audit Assistant (Former Employee) - Pasay City - May 11, 2023
Main problem is you need to really multi task, multi task with two different scope of works is fine but more than that will definitely will affect the qualities of work. Very low compensation for a multi tasking employee, management needs to accept that multi tasking more than 2 task is a big problem

Overloaded with projects with minimum pay
Project In-Charge (Former Employee) - Pasay City - February 28, 2023
You will be given responsibilities even as a fresh grad which is rewarding at first. But then the amount of workload will not be well compensated. Expect an annual increase of 500 pesos. Goodluck if you still pursue a career here

Jobs at Asya Design Philippines
Never gets boring
Project In-Charge (Former Employee) - Head Office, MOA Complex Pasay City - January 26, 2023
Never gets boring in a sense that you have to accomplish lots of lots of workload on daily basis which find it fine since it's the job but handling multiple projects (atleast 4) without proper turnover or briefing is a different story. You can ask and seek help from your subordinates and managers easily. They encourage you in all fairness. However, there are lots of things that need to be addressed SPECIFICALLY better benefits and compensation. Over time pay request are very very hard to be approved given that you are handling multiple projects. Also, they have expected you to provide all reports in each projects considering you are attending meetings, answering queries, preparing dwgs to be issued, reviewing submittals and updating monitoring logs like admin works. It is demanding but not compensated very well. It would be fulfilling at first because learning is gained however, when you feel burned out, you may feel drastically tired and losing your interest anymore.
Pros
Learning and Experience only for the graduates and Background is mainly gained from construction, There are still room for learning
Cons
benefits, policies, less than 10 leaves per year, no overtime pay, no allowance, no night differential, very hard to regularize their employees

Good company
Marketing Assistant (Former Employee) - Pasay City - December 17, 2021
I am at Good Company wherein my skills and abilities are into good use. However turnover rate is medium fast for an unknown reason. Maybe there is a need to improve its retention program.

Experience and exposure to design and construction industry is excellent.
Project Architect / Project In Charge (Former Employee) - Pasay City - April 27, 2021
Good for learning experience even if you are already a professional because of the engagement to big projects and connections in the field. The downside, it feels like more of a business oriented anymore and not a "Architectural firm" because of too many projects and not enough people. The salary is good enough for me as a newly Licensed Architect, but for some it is really low especially if you don't have much experience.
Pros
Beautiful office interior and exterior, with own gym/basketball court for the employees.
Cons
Long Hours of work. Most of employees are young and immature.

3+ years of experience
Architectural Designer (Former Employee) - Pasay City - August 17, 2020
-Good only for fresh graduates to accomplish logbook requirements. This is the best place to finish logbook without meeting 2 years because the schedule is so hectic you need to render a lot of overtime whether you like it or not which will help you accomplish the logbook in terms of hours. -Best place to gain lifetime friends. -The people and environment are not toxic. -Everyone coaches one another even if they are not in your team. -This company has so many departments that will meet your diversified experience as Arki. You can even transfer to other depts to widen your scope as Architect but people here are usually attached to everyone and very close that they dont want to leave their friends. Pros: -Quick and easy interviews. -Good only for fresh graduates looking for diversified training. -Can finish logbook requirements based on hours of work than days (due to overtimes). -Happy/Pleasant/Fun environment. Minimal toxic workmates compared to other companies. -People usually around your age bracket (22-25) except seniors/managers -Approachable seniors that will coach you to be the best in your field of choice. -Good teamwork -The office is very high end, clean and sophisticated with large glass windows ghat maximize natural daylight. -One of the perks: being employed at a top archi company, locally and internationally known. Good for employment background. Cons: -An average ratio of 3-4 projects per person in every team. A team usually handles 16+ projects -Per projects have different phases and sets of deadlines. -Too much overtimes (but good for logbook -

Productive and World Class Head Quarters
CADD Architect (Former Employee) - Pasay City, Philippines - October 28, 2019
What I like about ASYA Design is we have a flexible working hours, pleasant working environment and great coworkers. We have weekly workshops about methodologies, materials, new technologies and process to improve our skills and knowledge. We have a very friendly Admin and HR, the workplace culture is very friendly, my coworkers are always willing to help and they always make me feel like we're not just a team but a family. The hardest part of the job for me is when I was newly hired, the adjustment period. sometimes we have to work overtime to meet the deadlines and etc. and the most enjoyable part of the job is when you finished an entire project, It's so fulfilling, all the sleepless nights and hard-work pays off and of course the activities in office with free foods and games.
