Excellent environment to gain experience and thrive in
Customer Service Representative (CSR) (Former Employee) - Pasay City - October 18, 2023
In terms of the workload, it is somewhat manageable when you know how to multitask and work efficiently. I learned to be a more efficient professional and excelled in compassion and patience when handling different inquiries from guests. The hardest part is that the workload is inconsistent, and the upper management feels somewhat disconnected at times, resulting in almost 30% of the guests' complaints being the company at fault.
Pros
Decent Pay, WFH (depending on your shift)
Cons
Workload, some departments are toxic

Low employee engagement, low on collaboration
Finance Analyst (Former Employee) - Pasay City - February 11, 2023
Very traditional culture and highly patriarchal. No clear direction of company vision. Management seems disengaged and not aligned. A lot of improvement to do to catch up with better culture.

Fast Paced Environment
Guest Service Assistant (Current Employee) - Pasay City - May 25, 2022
Since I started I knew it will be a fast paced environment to work at. Due to abundant number of flights catered per day, you will learn how to do multiple things at the same time. One of the hardest parts is having to request for leaves since the position demands to not lack personnel most especially during peak seasons. Hopefully, pay will be raised soon to all. But at the end of the day, benefits of being a direct hire with flying and dependents add up to a nice package of benefits they offer you upon employment.

Fun workplace with the other On the Job Trainee. Meet a lot people who also know as my second family.
On the Job Trainee (Former Employee) - Pasay City - July 14, 2019
In my On the Job Training in AirAsia my experience being a Trainee in AirAsia they teach me how to communicate with other customer by calling them asking for their different details also my department is Sales and Distribution thats why they also teach me how to book a flight tickets, at first it was hard to learn how to book a flight but it was fun. In AirAsia I met new people who i can also call a Family, meeting them in Airasia give me more energy or courage to go and do my job not just them but also my family who support me through it all. They build a good relationship between Trainee and Staff of AirAsia.

Challenging and fun
OJT Trainee (Former Employee) - Puerto Princesa - July 19, 2018
We help guest service to check in passengers. We also help passengers to check in themselves through Air Asia's kiosk. At the boarding gate we check passengers boarding pass if they are in the right flight. The management is good because they follow the rules and regulations. In terms of work culture they are fun to be with because they are very hospitable to us. The hardest part of my job is talking to passengers who have complains tho its normal but for me sometimes its hard specially if they don't know how to speak english. Ofcourse the most enjoyable part of the job is when you see the passengers are satisfied with my service.
Pros
Free food
Cons
Standing long hours

Fun people to work with
On-the-job Trainee (Former Employee) - Manila, Philippines - September 20, 2017
I'm only a trainee in air asia but they treat us as a normal employee, we're doing what the normal aircraft mechanics will do, such as, removal and installation of Landing gear wheels, and etc.
