I worked as a sales clerk at here for two years, and I can provide an honest review of my experience there. Overall, it was a mixed bag. On the positive side, the company had a wide range of products and a loyal customer base. The training provided to sales staff was adequate, and I learned a lot about hardware and home improvement during my time there. Additionally, my colleagues were generally friendly and supportive.However, there were some downsides. Pay was on the lower side, and there wasn't much room for advancement. Management was sometimes disorganized, which led to occasional inventory issues and customer complaints. Workload could be quite demanding during busy seasons.In summary, the company was a decent place to gain retail experience and product knowledge, but it had its share of challenges. It could be a good fit for someone looking for an entry-level position, but long-term career prospects may be limited.

Fun workmates, low salary, few benefits for the associates

a major drawback was the salary offered to associates. It was lower than industry standards, and despite hard work and dedication, it was challenging to feel adequately compensated for our efforts. This low salary often led to feelings of frustration and demotivation among the employees.

Multi - tasking but less compensated, Bias management about career improvement

Working in ACE Hardware before was fan and lively but when new management took over the operation begin to collapse. Because of there idea of multi tasking without science to back up what they are wanted to do so. We are task to do more clerical activity, instead of focusing on sales and retail activity, then after the end of the day the management always wanted to us to produce positive sales were much of our time is focusing on the compliance requirement. it not weigh in the proper concept.

Pros

With incentives after 3 months, of achieving Plan Quota with assessment, of positive opex before you, qualify with the incentive.

Cons

multi tasking less compensated, bad work life balance, toxic environment, O.T ty

The work of three persons is being done by one. Good to work to if you really need a job asap, or of you are single. but if you have a family, the salary wont be enough.
